Raising Dad (2001–2002)
How DOES a dad work at his daughter's high school and not embarrass her?
14 October 2001
Raising Dad is a surprising new addition to the WB Friday night. It is a show that can actually be related to by teenagers, (especially ones who's parent/s work at their school.) Bob Saget is Matt Stewart, a widower who is a teacher at his older daughter's high school, proves to us that even adults can make mistakes (you never know what might slip out about your family during you English class.) Playing the older daughter is the fabulous newcomer Kat Dennings. As Sarah Stewart, Kat does a fabulous job of really showing us, the viewers how it is growing up in a world missing your mother, where you live with your widower father, cynical little sister and aging grandfather. Brie Larson plays Emily Stewart, Sarah's little sister who's best friend is her grandfather (Jerry Adler), and together they scheme to keep Emily out of school. Also is the cast is Meagan Good who plays Sarah's best friend. You might recognize her from Nickelodeon's "Cousin Skeeter". Raising Dad is very well written, the jokes and the storylines keep us WB Friday night viewers wanting more. (And this is coming from someone who swore strike on the WB Friday night after "Popular" was cancelled!) So turn on your televisions and set your VCRs for the WB at 9:30 every Friday night, or who knows what you might be missing!

Maybe It's Me (2001–2002)
The definition of the crazy-disfunctional family
14 October 2001
What do you get when you mix: a popularity longing fifteen-year old, her embarrassing, bad advice giving parents, one brother who is a Wanna-be Christian rocker, another brother who just "happens" to have a lot of expensive stuff, a lot of money, but no job, two little rascal twins sisters who fight over everything and enjoy turning over cereal bowls on each other's heads, a best friend who is Jewish, but is in love with the Christian rocker Wanna-be brother, a grandmother who hides food EVERYWHERE and cannot remember what she said from one minute to the next and tends to repeat things, and a grandfather who despises that grandmother? Well, (after taking a breath after saying all that,) you get the new WB Friday night comedy Maybe Its Me! Molly Stage, played by Reagan Dale Neis, is fifteen and has just gotten rid of her baby fat, AND just gotten noticed by her all-time crush. But for every good thing to happen to a fifteen year old, there is also a bad thing right behind it! Molly, is the middle child of five, has to deal with Rick (Andrew Walker), Grant (Patrick Levis), Cindy (Daniella Canterman) and Mindy (Deanna Canterman) and her parents (Julia Sweeney and Fred Willard) and grandparents (Ellen Albertini Dow and Dabbs Greer). Vicki Davis plays Mia, Molly's best friend and the only other sane person in her life. Well, there's also Nick Gibson (Shaun Sipos), Molly's biggest crush who just happens to be invited to Molly's house for dinner on the night that she forgot to check every ornament in the dining room for the raw food her grandmother hides. Well you get the picture. Life's not easy for Molly, but something got her thinking. "Why is my family so weird? I don't know. MAYBE ITS ME!" "Maybe is Me" can be seen on the WB Friday night at 8:30. Don't miss it!

Three boys and their prep school antics.
12 July 2000
Young Americans is a new WB show, with the looks of a promising new popular saga. The young people at this school have spunk, and they are faced with hard decisions and reprimands as early as the first episode. I hope this show continues for a long time.

Jack & Jill (1999–2001)
Jack & Jill is a great new show about a man and a woman in New York and their friends. I hope it continues for seasons to come.
26 September 1999
I was sitting in front of my TV on Sunday night watching Felicity, and I see that this new show is on after it. So, I think, "I don't want to watch another of these new romance shows," so of course I watched anyway. I start watching the show, and I realize that all the scenery looks familiar. If you watch carefully, the church is from 7th Heaven, the bar looks like it's from Felicity, a lot of the outside buildings look like they're from Friends! So, besides that Jack & Jill is a really interesting show. I'd like to keep watching to see what happens!
