I can't believe these are still made

All Adam Sandler, Rob Schnieder, Norm MacDonald, Chris Farley, David Spade, and the rest of former SNL "Bad Boys" have the same stupid plotline to all of their films. They gotta get a certain amount of money in a certain amount of time or it's somebody's head. I can't even comprehend why they get a fraction of an audience anymore.

Completely Stupid

This show was a humiliation to whatever TV has turned into. Aired on the WB (showing it's horrificness enough) for 3 years, it followed a plot line about an artist who's parents move to Europe and he is placed in charge of his 17-year-old brother, his 14-year-old sister and his 7-year-old bother, while wooing the beautiful neighbor. A way to similar plot line, and also very dull.

The David Letterman Show (1980)

The beginning of a legend

This was the first of David Lettermans phenomenal comic success in Late Night. Although this show didn't go over as well as the others, I've seen re-runs and it was funny, and earned him an Emmy. If anyone knew then what we know now about this "dude" (as Dave would say), I'd be a rich woman today.

The articles on this show are all extraordinarily well done, and even some articles I wouldn't have ever found interesting (e.g. - a man who wrestles snakes) I find myself clung to. Also, Barbara Walters has passed anything above average in the world of news anchors.

The powerful true story of Frank McCourt

Following a few years where film adaptions of bestselling novels seemed to be a legion, the pace appears to be slowing slightly in 1999 (John Grisham novel-turned-film are becoming scarcer and scarcer, for example). But here comes the adaption of one of the best and most successful books ever, a true tale of poverty in Ireland. I'd advise everyone to either read the book or see the movie for their lives to be changed.

Reasonably funny

Kinnear's on stage appearance is very notable for being cool and suave, his jokes however... well, they did have their moments. Sometimes you could just tell this was a very desperate man and was writing the jokes at least 3 hours before the show. Kinnear is a far better actor than host, for the account.

Gilda Radner - The heart and soul of the original Saturday Night Live cast. She was, in no doubting form, a authentic comical genius. She knew that the audiences got the highest laughs out of asinine raillery and vivacious double entendres more than these extensive, irksome skits that today's SNL regurgitates every 2 years. As a writer and an actress, she did both with an disposition by no means like anybody else.

Eek! The Cat (1992–1997)

I love this show

As a huge fan of ridiculous television, this show fits my style perfectly. It's pretty much about a cat named Eek who has a strange paranoia about pretty much everything (Monsters, Bananas, Mr. Roger) and all of his friends who take him on wild adventures. It's kind of like Scooby Doo, but the dog is a cat, the humans are animals and it's not so involved.

Mystery Men (1999)

Very funny and clever

A group of misfit superheros (Stiller, Azaria, Mitchel, Garofalo, Izzard, Rubens and Studi) with powers that will serve no use for the greater needs of their hometown, Champion City, try to make big names of themselves by trying to save Captain Amazing (Kinnear) from the clutches of the evil Cassanova Frankenstein (Rush). A very clever and witty film (with a great cast) sure to make a boxoffice hit.

Celebrities such as Bill Clintion, Hilary Rodhamn, Rosie O'Donnel, Billy Crystal and Michael J. Fox narrate and host a documentary about the effects of showing even the smallest amount of love to your child, and the consequences if they are neglected.

A Tribute to a Great

Jack Nicholson, one of out finest actors, well deserved this honor. He credits 3 Academy Awards, 11 Nominations, and countless unforgettable films (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Terms of Endearment, Chinatown, As Good as it Gets, etc. all). We all love this man and let him never be forgotten.

Before Women Had Wings (1997 TV Movie)

Ellen Barkin is excellent in this...

The plot itself was a little stretched at the end, when Gloria's (Barkin) daughters go to live with Miss Zora (Oprah), but the performances in this were phenomenal. Barkin's performance was one of the best I had ever seen, and Oprah did a good job as well, but nothing notable.

Can't Hardly Wait (1998)

There was nothing really withstanding in this film, but it had it's funny moments. Denise and Preston fighting over the dog named Amanda was mildly funny, but everything in this film was just a really sad attempt at portraying high school life. Seriously, not every teenager either 1) drinks 2) smokes up or 3) is constantly preoccupied with sex. Some of us are "normal".

Late Night with David Letterman (1982–1993)

While Conan does have one of the best shows on TV now, David Letterman's original Late Night talk show is what created it all. This is where such classic things like "Stupid Pet Tricks" and "The Top Ten List" were born. Dave knows what people want to laugh at, and from that show he did it all, like once leaving an audience member as host for nearly the entire show while he "looked for his fake teeth" and other great things. David Letterman's current show may get more viewers, but this one should never be forgotten.

Extraordinary

Kubrick's final masterpiece is a one of a kind, strange journey into the world of sex, jealousy, and the necessity of a monogamous relationship. Only for the mature and older. Cruise and Kidman give fair performances, but nothing as remarkable as the film itself.

Late Show with David Letterman (1993–2015)

One of the best shows on TV

David Letterman combines both comedy and taste to this well directed and well written Talk-Show. His works all give off the same "goofball" image, but if that's the way that he wants to be known, than whatever. But on a more serious note, his show never feels the need to use crude sex jokes as a need of entertainment. Everyone should check it out at least once.

A laugh out loud riot!

With the way that Will Smith brings in his Philadelphia street slang and edge into his distant relatives high class and snobby home is just enough to make you laugh without even watching the show. The writers on TFBOBA are pure genius and deserve every award possible, because only once in a million are there shows that can make you laugh out loud at nearly every joke. Will Smith will never be forgotten for this one!

Absolutely Pointless

After Bam-Bam Rubble and Pebbles Flintstone get married, Pebbles becomes pregnant and gives birth to twins. It's basically a story that someday all kids will have to grow up and stop having fun at some point, which will just terrify them. I say we keep them away from the real world AS LONG AS POSSIBLE (God knows I could have used it).

Brilliant Performances

Not only was it excellent in it's superiority above all other horror classics, but the way that Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster portray Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lector and Clairice Starling. Definitely the best acting of the decade. I saw Hopkins in an interview and he said that he got so into the character and his ways of life, and I thought after seeing this movie that he must had made a complete transformation or something with the portrayal. One of a kind, do not miss it.

Twister: Ride It Out (1998 Video)

Kickin' ride!

Universal Studios has done it again, in constructing a one of a kind thrill ride that makes your hair blown crazy and your voice numb from the screams. The ride consisted of standing in a room that looked like a totaled house (complete with a car stuck in the roof and chicken noises) where we watched a movie with Helen Hunt and Bill Pullman about the how twisters are so devastating, then that part ended. We were brought into another room that looked like the drive in scene during Twister, where a little wind began to whip around and we could see a faint storm far off into the distance. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the wind picked up to an exhilarating pace, lightning clapped and brought down the Drive in sign with sparks flying in every direction. Then, when you thought it was over, they SOMEHOW formed a realistic looking twister not even 10 feet away from you... and then it all just suddenly... ends... real quiet like. But you leave with a feeling like you survived something beyond belief. Now where's Real TV?? I got a story for 'em!!!

Babe (1995)

...more than a kids movie

Looking at the cover, you'd conclude that this is some nonsensical juvenile movie, and that the only adults who'll scrutinize it are those who run a day care. Well, this movie shows the signs of ascendancy and prosperousness as much as Forrest Gump does, but with only a brief more for the child in you. Babe is the protagonist, and the unique who ceaselessly had it in him but just at no time knew it. And Farmer Hogget is the one who needs to be saved, on account of all of his life he has been the one who never was listened to, so he learned to say nothing. But the way this pig came into his life and showed his love for Hogget changed his life, Babe's and everyone else on that farm.
