Joke of a movie

Don't spend your money. Bad CGI. Humor where not needed. A total waste of my time. Decent story but not transferred to the big screen. Someone missed the boat when they put a green light on the project.

I enjoyed this little gem. All teenagers should see it. It's not really about football but about what life throws at us . Teaches us that life is not simple, It comes with ups and down and the winners are the ones that get back up from disappointments.

I go see a movie for the entertainment value..... this has none. Good acting and 2.5 hours to see a duel to save honor. Not what I expected from a great Director and Stars.

Love Clint but!

He has been a first class Actor and Director for ever and I love him dearly but I think it's time to quit for Clint. This film is very disappointing to me has I see Clint very old, in his presence on screen and I say that with respect. If he want to keep working God bless him but maybe he should stay behind the camera.

I always wonder why some directors make crap movies and others make great movies. Clint Eastwood has one of the greatest portfolios of smart, intelligent, interesting and well acted films. From humble beginnings as an actor he has developed into an iconic director. You know going into the theatre that your going to see an artist at work. This story, this movie is what careers are made off. Go see it.

La Femme Nikita was great. This is pretty much the same film but not as good. It seems the producer wanted a fast buck. Fun to see on a boring afternoon.

In countries like India when you get a job at such a plush hotel it's for a lifetime. You care, you love and defend the place you work at. This film depict exactly that space in time. It's well acted and very scary that it could happen to you.

The Kid (II) (2019)

A western as it should be

If your not a western lover don't see it or review it. As a western it has a very good story. The acting is top notch and the direction is also top notch. It's bloody at times but it fits the story perfectly. It was a lawless time afterall . If your tired of paying $11 dollars or so to see CGI SCENES, SEE THIS.

That's what most Icons do in their carriers, movies that are worth seeing and Clint does it every time. It may not be a box office hit but it's a story that makes a very well done film.

Very good performances by the actors but it's a story we already know. In essence it's a biography of the men that lied to America that Bagdad had weapons of mass destruction. It was a lie.

Defoe is excellent. The director is very talented, so what happened? Well it's just a boring subject. One has to realize that paying an average of $12 dollars to see a movie you want to be entertained on top of good direction. This is not entertaining at all. This is an art film. Critics at times think their rocket scientist. They are not, they forget maybe that the bottom line is entertainment. To make my point I'll say that at a 7pm showing we were 2 people in the theatre.

Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)

Are you a senior like me

If your are older go see it. If you listened to Queen go see it it will rock you and bring back great memories. This is not to say if your younger don't see it. My young daughter went twice, loved it. Queen is my youth and will be yours.

Overlord (2018)

Entertaining yet aggravating at times

The action is well done. The acting is also well done. The story is a bit different from the tons of horror films. What is aggravating with many scenes in the film is that at times in scenes that requires the actors to talk in a low voice due to Germans being near, they scream their ears off to one another. Plain silly when you know the director is shooting it and the script supervisor can address it to the director. That ruined it for me.

Apollo 13 was excellent. Right stuff was great. Trailers on this are better than the film. The acting is tops but the vehicle is like watching a snell move along. Few scenes are exciting by mostly the soundtrack.
