Swat Kats: The Radical Squadron (1993–1995)

One word: Wow

What an INCREDIBLE show!

Too bad only 2 seasons of episodes were made and it was taken off the air for unknown reasons. I guess some people thought it was a little too mature for the audience of cartoon network.

I remember when I was 15 or so I used to watch the Swat Kats TWICE a day, EVERY day (that's as often as the episodes were shown). I loved it and I was addicted to it! My heart was broken when I found out they're taking it off.

The animation, music, character voices were done incredibly well. The plot was ever - entertaining and written very carefully. It was always solid, never tedious or silly or annoying.

Simply put, it was just a pleasure to watch the Swat Kats - from the beginning scene - the awesome episode opener with the incredible background music - to the very end of every episode with the swat kats kicking tail and saving megakat city.

I loved everything in it - the cool gadgets, the turbokat (swat kats' airplane), the characters...

Well this is getting a bit too long.

Just go and see it if you can find it somewhere!

Enemy of the State (1998)

Good, but could be better.

I overally liked this movie, but there were little leaks in the plot at some times. Also, the high - tech equipment which the movie was full of seemed a bit surreal. Well, this is only my opinion, though, some people say that it's quite believable. This is a really good thriller and there was not little action in it too. There are humorous moments in the plot, as in almost any movie nowadays, and that also gathers the viewer's interest. The plot was really smart, as you'd expect for that kind of movie. Actually not a bad movie but according to me it has some drawbacks.

Starship Troopers (1997)

Absolutely Incredible

All I can say about this movie is that is just perfect. I haven't watched the new star wars series yet, but I have never EVER seen such a perfect actor play, visual and sound effects, and best of all, plot. The scenes with the aliens and spacecraft were so good that you'd thought these were actually shot in real world, not done by computer. The action gets you from the beginning and keeps you glued to the seat just about to the end of the movie. It is so perfectly mixed with the love story in the movie and with the horror of war that it creates an increasingly real and catchy atmosphere. As the plot unfolds you couldn't say what will happen next and it was so thrilling. The actors - these beautiful girls and boys acted so good too. In many of the moments of the movie they were put in a desperate situation, where only quick response, hard fighting amd not losing hope saved their lives. You definitely should go to see this movie. Don't miss it!
