The Passion of Darkly Noon (1995)

Not worth watching

I would only recommend this movie to people that like laughing at stupid dramas. This has some of the worst acting by the stars, I thought Ashley Judd was bad before, but that was nothing until I saw this. Just think of this Fraser is found and brought to Judd's home. He stares at her non-stop, masturbates while watching her from a barn. All is going great until her husband (who can't speak and communicates through hand gestures and grunts) comes home. All Fraser wants to do it sleep with her, but instead he watches while she has sex with her husband, and he cuts himself up with barb wire. Sounds like a great movie so far right? This is one of the most stupid movies, I don't recommend watching it unless your a fan of any of the actors. I think most of the people that wrote these reviews here are fans of the actors in the movie, or else these great reviews would never have been written. Even if the acting was better it couldn't have saved this movie.

Jack and His Friends (1992)

Sam Rockwell is the best part

I agree with the first person to leave feedback, the starring role is the major downfall of the movie. Some of his dialogue was humorous but there was too little. Sam Rockwell stands out, and in my opinion is the most humorous part of the movie. Jeremy Roberts has his moments too as Jack's former island friend, who shows up at his house to rob him.

Keeping the Faith (2000)

okay ...but could have been better

I went to see this because I'm a big Edward Norton fan, and wanted to see him play a comedic role and direct for the first time. I liked the movie but it did have some slow parts and could have ended sooner, lately movies have been long when it's not needed. This could have be resolved alot sooner. I personally was a fan of Ben Stiller, but now that he's everywhere I'm starting to get sick of him, people went to see the movie knowing that he was going to get the girl, they just didn't know when or how or what problems would come up. Ben's character Jake was a very humorous character, and added in most of the laughes throughout the movie. I liked the karoke guy, there should have been more of him, it was nice that they noticed he was a humourous character and had him appear at the end of the movie.

I thought that the ending was kind of unbeleavable, maybe since the character is a priest him might be able to forgive his friends for lying to him for months. I don't think he would have been able to forgive them so quickly. Especially since embarassed himself so badly. I give this movie a 7 out of 10. the movie could have been better but I usually give special consideration with romantic comedies.

Funny Movie

Ok I loved this movie, I was one of the people that went to see this movie in the theatre. I don't understand these people that have written about how bad this movie was. Why did they take it seriously? It was a comedy, everything in it was meant to be comedy.

They talk about the acting, and how horrible it was. Well how stupid are these people to think the acting is going to be terrific in a low-budget comedy movie like this. I thought the acting was great for the movie. It wasn't suppose the be a big blockbuster movie, and let's face it people alot of those movies have the worst acting in them.

They talk about the writing, and dialogue, and call it crap. The dialogue, I thought, was perfect for a COMEDY! The dialogue made sense, it went right along with the movies main parts, and was funny. How can anyone hate this movie? All the the people that have written about this movie on here, and said it was horrible, took the movie as something serious, like a big time drama or something. What's wrong with you people? I admit the movie wasn't the best, but it bothered me when I read all of these negative comments. Out of a 10 I give the movie an 8. I agree with some of you that didn't think it was the best movie ever made but it was good all the same. For those that wrote the negative comment, go back and watch it knowing that it's a comedy, how anyone could take the movie serious is insane.

Final Destination (2000)

Better than I thought

I really liked this movie. I went to see it because I'm a fan of Tony Todd, and Chad E Donella. All though the movie is pretty predictable, it was still mildly entertaining. One of my favorite quotes now comes from this movie - "Let's go take a shit" - Tod. It really isn't the best movie, but if you don't have your hopes up to high when you see it then it's not too bad.
