I am exactly the target audience for this movie. I like Wes Anderson movies and have 9 science professors as immediate relatives and play nerdy mind games. Unfortunately despite this, the movie was beautiful but dreadfully boring. I gave up watching after 41 minutes. I was on an airplane so you would have thought I could tolerate more but it was very slow. The framing device of scenes was pretentious and time consuming. Scenery and sets were absolutely gorgeous but tons of fast paced hard to follow dialogue and very slow plot progression. Zillions of character introductions beyond audience capacity . Felt like a film school experiment in dire need of editing. Am sad about all this but oh well!

Flat, boring, painful to watch

My wife and I rented it but had to give up about half way through. Very boring, none of the characters were likeable or believable. We didn't see the end but it was pretty clear who was going to end up with whom and the problem was we didn't really care.
