Der schweigende Stern (1960)
German production
Got to say it's got a lot of good production i mean props and sets for it's time , they were really trying to make something good.
Ken Park (2002)
Life Imitates Art Imitates Life , Is now a True Story
The part of the film were the Mother has sex with the Daughters boyfriends , has happened in a real life situation in the same area of California that the film takes place in. see Coral Lytle of Tulare, CA who has been accused of sex with daughters' teen boyfriends.
Grass Is Greener (2019)
it's a good documentary but it misses some important history
Mostly this documentary is about Music and Cannabis and its history in the USA and some cultures that use it, like rastafarians in Jamaica , but this documentary skips some music and other cultures , like the skip the La Cucaracha song, and the drink Bhang in India , they also skip the court case 'Leary v. United States' were the courts found Marijuana prohibition tax act unconstitutional in 1970 , and it became legal for a year until congress passed the controlled substance act in 1971. If Fred would have included this in his documentary i would have given it a 10 rating .
Souvenirs of Death (1948)
long before the Red Violin
There was Souvenirs of Death , the story of the life of a gun.
Bird Box (2018)
The Crazies (1973), Suicide Club (2001), The Happening (2008) - Werther Effect
The Crazies might be the first of this type of horror film, were the people don't attack other people like a slasher film , but they kill themselves. I ask why has this type of horror film become more popular in the recent years, like 'Suicide Club" 2001, the Happening (2008) ? are they promoting mass Suicides ?
Maybe they could have called the film the 'Werther Effect'
Since this film the infection / copycat effect, is visual , you would think a blind person or a bunch of blind people would be the leads .
