Star Trek: Picard (2020)
Everyone has an expiration date
Having been a Star Trek fan for decades, was so hopeful for a new Star Trek series. Picard has as much to do with "Star Trek" as a frozen TV dinner has to do with a gourmet meal. The characters are flat, and lack the chemistry with each other that was always evident in all the other Star Treks. Suffered through the first 4 episodes & had to pull the plug. Sir Stewart please retire, Ms. Ryan you deserve better than this silly wanna be sci-fi .
In the Cut (2003)
Meg should keep her clothes on & buy a sheep ranch!
So sad to see someone as talented as Meg Ryan appear so used up-whatever was the mind set, just missed the boat big time-did anyone ever consider editing that mess of a film? Such a waste of film & talent, & where were the lights in this dark movie, would have been nice to see it!
Hollywood Homicide (2003)
Both actors didn't act, Josh looked embarrased to be in this
Harrison Ford is a great actor, however he should stick with "Jack Ryan" & "Indiana Jones", something is missing when his character is supposed to come across as funny- Josh Harnett can do better, & should have done better in this film.
However together you wish their characters would have been killed off after the first five minutes (which were the best 5 minutes of the whole movie)! It was embarrassing to see these two fine actors turn in such weak performances.
Alex & Emma (2003)
A sweet little TV movie
This was a sweet little movie, a bit too long, but nice. Not all movies are great, or loaded with action, this one is fun. The movie brings up one very good point-do we really know what we want & are we strong enough to go after it?
Hulk (2003)
Nice try, or was it?
This movie had such potential, now it needs to quietly go away to the video store! How can a movie with such potential and star appeal go so very wrong? Perhaps the Hulk doesn't have all the story lines that Spiderman & Superman have or perhaps we prefer our super heros to be more than special effects.
Empire (2002)
An amazing movie, not one miss step, the acting was superb.
This movie grabs you right in the beginning, and takes you on it's roller coaster ride for the entire film. Went expecting to like it, but wasn't prepared for the emotional impact! A real "must see", hey Hollywood, this should get a few Oscars!
Solaris (2002)
Solaris/The cure for insomnia, or when does the drama begin?
I like George Clooney, I really do, I keep going to his movies, in hopes he'll have the same magic he had on ER & it just doesn't happen-he needs a great cast think Oceans Eleven, or big effects think the Perfect Storm-what is going on?
