This movie is funny beyond belief.

It is not to be taken as a serious drama, but as a comedy. It is absolutely hilarious.

Bicycle Thieves (1948)

The true point of the film

....is the relationship of the father and son.

Watch the film with your focus on the son, not the father. Watch what happens to the boy, what he sees, how he is influenced, his point of view. The father is so preoccupied with the bicycle he fails to see what is happening to his son. This is the strength of the film. Watch the boy.

Twister (I) (1996)

Enjoyable.....just like cartoons.

I enjoyed the film even though it's not(gasp) high drama. It's action packed and funny just like cartoons. It is not thought provoking, or deep, or serious. Just plain entertaining. Great special effects. This movie has it's flaws but they are too easy to overlook.

The Godfather or Shawshank Redemption or Schindler' List or Casablanca or Citizen Kane it ain't. But then it's not trying to be. It's potato chip entertainment (low in nutritional value but still taste great) not a gourmet dinner.

Don't expect too much out of this film but entertainment and you shouldn't be disappointed.
