Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows (1998)
A shocker and incredibly down to earth
This movie is an eye opener, having watch wrestling a lot, you can't imagine what goes on behind the curtain... But this is actually what this documentary is all about, it is the only way to set the record straight regarding the partying of Bret Hart from the WWF to the WCW, showing exactly how this wrestler was screwed out of his title. In the end, it's not just the wrestler you begin to know, but the man behind that wrestler. All of those crazy schedules, the abuse of drugs, the "fake" wrestling...Everything just seems to make a lot more sense after you saw Wrestling with shadows
Beyond the Mat (1999)
Too much tragedy
This movie is, unfortunately, very sad to watch. You go from one wrestler to another, in an attempt to make the average person understand the drive behind that business, behind the actual wrestler. But the thing is, it's all a very touching tale, the only problem is, you don't see any point in knowing all of the suffering the people you watch, or you used to watch on TV, have endured. This movie as no purpose, no script what so ever, it's like a roller-coaster ride that you still feel sick of, even after a few days! It's too tragedy for one night! Not for Kids!
