I'll start off by saying I thought the first film was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I know alot of people will disagree with me, but it's just my opinion, the film wasn't for me. This film takes a different approach. It's filmed as an ordinary movie instead of the shaky cam used originally, It also shows the first film as a movie instead of making it as though it was real and continuing on from that. The acting is reasonable, not brilliant, but not terrible. On the whole the film is quite creepy. It isn't scary, but it does have a few spooky moments and it ups the violence factor considerably. It's not for everyone, and i think if you enjoyed the first film, then this will be a disappointment, but otherwise, it's not as bad as some reviewers have said
