Black Widow (2021)
Haters everywhere
I read all the spoilers and reviews before watching this movie and thought it would be a mess of a movie but it was actually really good. All the characters were so entertaining and perfectly used, the story is not as outrageous as any other marvel movie and the action was fun (except the ending)
The ending and the mind control were a bit of a stretch but so are most mcu end battles and we've seen mind control in the mcu too so it's not that hard to believe. But the characters are truly some of my favorite new editions to the mcu. Really really liked this movie. It's super fun but takes itself seriously when it has to, and honestly is better than most mcu origin movies. Don't listen to the haters and form your own opinion watching this movie.
Army of the Dead (2021)
I tried
I went into this thinking it would be fun, then 40 minutes went by and I tried holding out, thinking it would get better, and it never did. I made it to the 1h 45m mark and I thought I could google the ending and go to bed happy.
Bad dialogue, bad script, semi bad cinematography.
I tried to like it, but then I realized I shouldn't be watching a movie I have to convince myself to keep watching.
Justice League Unlimited: For the Man Who Has Everything (2004)
Best of the series
To me, this is the best and most personal episode of the series. The stakes are raised and you can feel the tension the entire episode. Not to mention the voice acting from George Newbern is some of, if not the best of his work as Superman.
Superman and Batman's stories are both heartbreaking and seeing Wonder Woman be beaten down so heavily really grounded me when I was a kid. It showed me that the all powerful trinity can be vulnerable. (In a sad, strange way)
This episode was amazing to watch as a kid and an even better experience rewatching as an adult. 10/10
Rick and Morty: Vindicators 3: The Return of Worldender (2017)
Extremely underrated
This is one of the best episode of the series imo. The joke were just so amazing and layered and thought out
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
What a terrible ending to the best show
What. Was. That. You throw rocks on Cersei, You kill Dany and screw over Jon. All for Bran to end up the king? This is trash.
First of all, they gave Dany and Cersei THE most anti climactic deaths ever. And they voted Bran on the throne and said "forget your character arc Jon Snow" let's send you back where you started.
I'm seriously so disappointed at this ending. They tried to shock us and subvert audience expectations and by doing that they ruined the ending.
Also still upset they killed Sandor Clegane .
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Sigh
What happened to this show?
Dany and Jaime's character arcs were completely obliterated
Varys and Tyrion are suddenly the dumbest people in Westeros who are pacifists when the plot demands it
Jon was nothing but a wet blanket and Arya was just around for plot armor
Don't get me started on Cersei's death! Cersei has been one of the main villains the entire series and she has barley appeared in this season. I was hoping for her to get some comeuppance for all the horrible things she's caused. But instead, they humanized her! Tried to make it "tragic" by dying in her brother/lovers arms. Whyyyyy.
They destroyed the characters more than they destroyed kings landing this season.
