Better Call Saul: Waterworks (2022)
What a solid development
Very emotional and nonstalgia. This is full of flashbacks and connecting many dots to Breaking Bad as well as all previous seasons of BCS. Love it so much. Can't wait for finale.
Finch (2021)
Solid and emotionally amazing
It touches every part of my heart and it brings a powerful story. I don't mind one man story (like " I am legend") as long as it delivers good character development and compelling story. I believe Finch has done well in both. The story may not be original but the way it presents is emotionally amazing.
Station Eleven: A Hawk from a Handsaw (2021)
An irregular frowning way
If this series turn out to be a bad one, this episode will serve as the turning point. The structure they made is not appreciated by me and it is not friendly to someone that know very little about Shakespeare.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Stop complaining and enjoy whatever is still left
So I read so many users complaining and steaming and turning angry just like Dany burned them all in this episode. People say there is no story/character development but hey this is finale season what more development is needed when you try to wrap the story? I admit the dialogue and conversation this season are simple and naive, and I love how they used to be intriguing and full of layers. But would you really expect to watch characters talk for 55 mins and battle for maybe 15 mins?
People got annoyed by Dany being "Mad Queen" but her merciless expression was never less in previous 7 seasons, just by oral only, "I will take what is mine by fire and blood." Dany said back in s2. And after what all her loved ones are gone, it drove her mad (Targaryen blood as well). I dont see problem with her character development. GRRM once said they need 5 more seasons to finish his story (if stick to the book). D&D has other opinion but having last 2 seasons with 13 eps only, the show needs a wrapper.
Lastly, this is WAR, so many characters in this show have referenced the cruelty of war: human die, man slaughtered, women raped, kids murdered, houses burning down. What Dany did is showing how war is carrying in an explicit way. Yes it was brutal, crazy action after surrender bell, yes she is mad queen, but that also made her a human not a saint. many IMDBers claim they have wasted 8 years....just because story writers made her turn dark after everything so good happen in Esos?
All fantasy/history story end with a not-so-happy ending. so will GoT.
