Dogman (2023)
Touching
I was hooked from the trailer. I was excited to see it and I wasn't disappointed. This movie deals with pain in such a beautiful and sensitive way. I love the fact that it also dealt with identity. It talks about pretty serious subjects and all with lots of art.
Yes it lacks some sense sometimes but see past that. Focus on the main theme.
I was very touched by the story, but above all. What a performance!! What an actor Caleb Landry Jones is. Keep your eyes on him.
I even like the music a lot.
I haven't left the theater feeling such a way in a while.
I love a painful story brought in such artistic way.
Definitely recommend.
Book Club: The Next Chapter (2023)
Everything about it
I don't understand the awful reviews.
This is a perfect light romantic movie.
It was never meant to be a masterpiece. It's light, funny, lively, joyous, beautiful, emotional and smart. The story is very cute and well built. The actors are incredible obviously. The music beautiful. You travel with them and you have a good time. I mean what do you want more?
I even preferred that one to the first.
It makes you not only want to visit Italy, but makes you want to fall in love, or stay single, get married or don't. It makes you wanna be yourself, listen to yourself. Which is pretty rare, particularly in romantic movies.
The Little Mermaid (2023)
It flows so smoothly
Time flies. It all flows so smoothly and nicely. The movie stays very true to the original, simply seems and feels more real. Halle embodies Ariel so well it makes you question the original 😂 she's got this naive and childish thing about her that fits so well. Her singing and acting gives you literal chills and passes emotions on powerfully.
The original music is so nice and the lyrics changes are so subtle and benevolent.
I don't have anything negative to say about it. It's a new version of the story and I hope people will be opened to it and accept to be transported by it.
Ps: Eric is such a babe, someone help me.
