Captain Planet and the Planeteers (1990)
Profoundly Idiotic
If this show could break it's message down into just a few sentences, it might read something like this -
People are bad because they pollute the planet and America is evil because it is advanced enough to have harnessed it's resources.
If you want a really good laugh (and not just at the horribly done animation), watch an episode. You'll actually want the bad guys to win.
Body Parts (1991)
Incredibly Stupid.
I love bad movies and even I found this one stupid. A talented screenwriter and director could have done so much with this premise, but instead we are treated to nonsense. What the heck was with that barfight? Did Hal Needham stop by for the day to direct that? I half expected Dom DeLuise to come running out and start bonking people.
Bloodfist III: Forced to Fight (1991)
Excellent prison movie.
Bloodfist III is a credible movie on many levels. It is an excellent prison movie, a legitimate hand-to-hand combat movie, and even a good message movie. It's far better than Stallone's Lock-Up. The fight scenes are much closer to being real than most of Don "The Dragon" Wilson's movies. Most people wind up hurt severely and unconscious after just one of two blows (just like real life). I'd give this one a solid 8.
