Just a Bonkers horror movie
27 October 2021
What a fantastic film that's absolutely fun and horrifically fun with its dark humour and an amazing performance by Samara Weaving. Loved the plot line and directions the film took with its structure and ideas that played out. It keeps you at the edge of your seat and laughing at the same time with its dramatised characters and modern humour. This film definitely makes you enjoy your 2 hours and gives you one hell of a ride which is absolutely beautiful to ride with its thrill and enthusiasm. Ready or not but this film is gonna make be terrifyingly funny.

A masterpiece in horror
27 October 2021
A brilliant and terrifying film with its horrific plot line, visuals and sound design that scare you with its subtle moves and synopsis. The ideas are horrifically disturbing and make you want to scream and cry through how creepy and scary this film is. Truly a psychological mind-bending film that will leave you haunted for a long time especially with the suspense and tension of its amazing cast. What a film and definitely the top of horror.

Horror in the light
27 October 2021
An awesome story that's truly disturbing and leaves you completely shocked by the end of the film. There are gross and disturbing visuals with very uncomfortable themes and ideas especially with the use of sound and a daylight horror story. It isn't scary but definitely frights through its psychological ideas and disturbs the hell out of you with its eerie atmosphere. Florence Pugh is amazing and this film is definitely a must-watch for people who believe they have a strong mind.

One of the biggest dissapointments
27 October 2021
A very disappointing film because Amy Adams did such a brilliant job and was so impressed by the entire cast but the script was poor and not constructed well at all. The ending happened so quick that it was over in a flash and made you shocked in a negative way. The build-up was so long and slow that it bored you throughout the film making you lose interest very quickly and was overall just a boring film with some mystery.

Pretty Decent
27 October 2021
I enjoyed this more than most people, definitely was dissapointed though. Not a bad DC film but exactly what you expect from a sequel, the same type of plot line with similar ideas but becomes repetitive and never as good. This film takes all the heart that its predecessor had and throws it away to make a more cliche and cheesy action plot which doesn't make sense or work at all throughout the entire length. The soundtrack is good for itself but just one wonder woman theme. High expectations but low delivery with the script. Patty Jenkins tried the wonder but didn't quite approach it this time.

A slow yet captivating twist into thriller
27 October 2021
An eerie and creepy movie with some horrific and terrifying scenes that evokes curiosity but muddles it up with an unpolished and unsatisfactory conclusion that can leave you confused and irritated by the open story. I would've preferred this film in a theatre format but it's not bad for what it offers, just feels incomplete and too complex for a simple story. Good, yes. Great, no.

I had to watch this movie in breaks because I was THAT bored
27 October 2021
Expectations were high from Jordan Peele's direction being great as of GET OUT and US but this film disappoints on every possible level that it has except the acting which is the one thing that compels you into the story. The plot is wasted with an unexplained and disappointing ending and the mystery is shattered halfway throughout the film completely taking you attention off. Just a decent film that passes the time and nothing else.

A fun and gritty Wonder Woman
27 October 2021
A great superhero film and one of DC's best with a compelling story and an amazing character brought to life with fantastic visuals and cast that engages you into the film even more with epic action sequences and emotional connections leaving you crying and cheering through the entire runtime of the film. Patty Jenkins is the woman of wonders when it comes to film.

A throwback to a pretty thrilling natural disaster movie
27 October 2021
A very nice thriller apocalyptic film with a great plot line and realistic scenarios that characters would go through even with its overblown sequences and dumb ideas, this is an enjoyable and thrilling 2 hours that will keep you at the edge of your seat until the last second.

A quick and fun action
27 October 2021
A fun and entertaining story with action that fills you with enthusiasm and engages you into the scenes and story even if it isn't polished. It's basic but executed nicely and keeps you at the edge of your seat with its great build up and intense connections between characters.

The Real Conjuring Spin Off
27 October 2021
The sequel that you expect of a bigger and bolder story line that follows a great detective film with fun and suspenseful scenes throughout keeping your heart racing however it is the weakest of the conjuring trilogy. This movie isn't scary and more thrilling and can't classify itself as a conjuring film without the engagement and due to its floppy story towards the end. However watching Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson on screen is always good and all their scenes are enjoyable. Fun film, not horror, not conjuring.

A Sequel better than the Original
27 October 2021
Expect what you do from a sequel, a repetitive story line and similar ideas executed as well as before but this time they are actually done better. The scares are unpredictable and just outright scary and make you jump and scream at quite a few jump scares. The story line is basic with a spark of modern sense to make it more engaging which works especially with Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilsons great performance. A scary film that can almost make you cry at how terrifying it is.

It's called being almost perfect
27 October 2021
A creepy and scary film that follows a dramatised version of the Lorraine's true story. The directing is phenomenal with amazing scares and creepy shots and movements that completely scare you till you jump. You're always glued to find more clues and each untangling of a the story is spine chilling and horrific. The cast is beautiful and the film does a great job at telling a supernatural story without bloated effects or overdone scares.

Somehow better than The Nun
27 October 2021
Take The Nun's budget and drop it by a lot and you get a better film, that's The Curse of La Llorona. Michael Chaves has interesting ways of making a story line more enjoyable to watch with its constant thrilling and addition to the story however the jump scares are absolutely disappointing and predictable except for a few but for its budget is a fun, scary, thrilling and good film with a good cast.

A literal Conjuring Spin off, which means that it's not good
27 October 2021
A very slow and boring film even with its 95 min runtime making you think that it would be thrilling throughout but throws away its potential on useless builds and ideas which would've made the film much better. One thing you can credit is the good jump scares making you scream even if there are only few and a great cast.

Beats the Original, but couldn't surpass the sequel.
27 October 2021
Definitely weakened on its jump scares but expect what you do from any sequel, a film that repeats most of its tricks from the first film except in a bigger and bolder way with similar stakes except this time, its delivered well and had significantly terrifying ideas and scares that really did freak me out and surprised me generally well throughout the movie.

An Annabelle Flagship, just not quite Conjuring level
27 October 2021
A prequel that surprises the fans compared to the original with its smart and witty directions and horrific jump scares it offers with a better story line and scary ideas and sequences that leave you absolutely terrified. The soundtrack and design leaves your heart pounding with an amazing cast and magnificent construction even if the runtime sometimes feels a bit slow and towards the end a bit fast but it keeps an entertaining film throughout. Definitely enjoyed the thrill of it more compared to its sequel.

Feels like a Conjuring Spin off
27 October 2021
Loved the approach to this terrifying doll through a simple and beautiful structure of story telling with scary scenes and scares that make You scream and jump with the subtlety of it. However, other than the main character, others are just bland and useless with an overstretched and boring plot which could've could've shortened.

Non-Anime Fan, and I liked this movie
27 October 2021
As a non-anime fan, this film was great with good visuals, a realistic approach to a magical life with emotional scenes and a plot that might be completely fictional but works in its aspect to hook the audience. The film is comforting and delightful and works in its aspects to entertain affect the audience even if sometimes it becomes stretched and complex, it still holds up throughout the entire runtime.

Best of the trilogy
27 October 2021
Don't agree with the criticism it received because this film is an exciting, thrilling, sad and epic closure to a pretty good trilogy with an amazing soundtrack and visuals that keep you at the edge of your seat if you've seen the first two films and end in a brilliant way to wrap up using an explosive film with an outstanding cast even if sometimes there are too many useless twists and ideas that over blow the story.

A pretty good sequel
27 October 2021
Not as great as its predecessor, but definitely an action filled sequel that satisfies the fans of the first film with a great sequence throughout the film even if it falls short due to its illogical reasoning and ideas but the soundtrack and visuals are outstanding keeping you hooked to the film.

A great adaptation
27 October 2021
A great action thriller that keeps you at the edge of your seat throughout the entire film especially for the fans of the book that has an amazing soundtrack and great visuals adding to the atmosphere of the film even if some scenes feel like they don't deliver as big of a punch you would like them to.

Disappointing, but not the worst
27 October 2021
A decent film with great visuals and good action sequences keeping your heart pumping even if the smartness isn't justified with its cliche ideas and sloppy ending making it a lengthy and boring watch that would hook you in throughout in increments.

A pretty intriguing Indie thriller
27 October 2021
I enjoyed this film more than most people. A great and compelling film with intriguing aspects throughout and justified ideas even if the ending slopped it all down with a mediocre reveal. The characters are smart and some pretty compelling ideas but just doesn't fully work.

A Oscar Worthy Movie
27 October 2021
A great thriller and comedy film that's twisted with friendship and love making you enjoy every single second with Carey's amazing performance and a lovely women empowerment story line keeping you hooked and at the edge of your seat throughout with its smart aspects even if sometimes the pace feels a bit off. Promising Young Woman comes off as one of those movies that deserved the Oscars.
