Pittsburgh (1942)
The Duke and The Countess
John Wayne at his greatest. This particular movie doesn't have horses or guns or even the Wild West but it has America at its best.
The movie isn't your typical John Wayne movie at all. But like many of Wayne's movies he is the unlikely hero who pulls no punches.
The movie is about a man that starts at the bottom and works his way to the top and finds himself back at the bottom again. But in any good redemption story he shows hard work and determination can get you at the top again.
The first time around is for money and power but the second time is for love and friendship.
Many people won't give this a ten and they are wrong. It's a beautiful John Wayne movie and I'll continue to watch it for years to come.
Father Stu (2022)
Stu who Knew
Other than the actors in the movie I had no clue about what I was about to watch. I knew it had two action stars that typically have some comedic roles added in them.
After watching this movie I remember why I'm such a fan of Mel Gibson. He pulls off an amazing role.
I appreciate the religious honesty in this movie. I thought I was going to watch a movie that had action and comedy but was completely surprised about it and honestly was happy I was wrong. 10 stars all the way!
Justice League (2017)
Childhood Dream
As a child I always wanted the live version of this movie to happen and I'm glad I finally got to see it happen. I just hope to see a second movie come out. It would be a shame for it not to happen. Superman and Batman will always be the all time greatest super hero's.
Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)
Spider-Man is new Favorite Marvel Character
Up until this movie I wasn't sure about the new Spidey. But after watching this movie Spider-Man became my new favorite Marvel Super Hero. I enjoyed the plot and story. The acting was really good and it also left it open to bring other favorites back in future films if they really wanted to.
All and all I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the money to see this movie in the theater but I'm glad I did and can't wait for it to come out to purchase.
Unbroken: Path to Redemption (2018)
Journey Home
The first movie focused on a hero never giving up and fighting to get back to his home and what he lost. This movie showed me a hero can be broken just like anyone else. The struggle to find God and Jesus isn't always as easy as walking into a church. The movie shows us how we all struggle in different ways and until we love ourselves we can't truthfully open up. 10 Stars.
Run the Race (2018)
Feel Good Movie
Faith based movie that leaves you thinking. The movie shows two brothers who seem to be on a different path but reality shows you they are just at a different pace. The movie reminds you Jesus is with you not only in the good times but is also there for us during the bad.
