The movie feels average, with forced comic scenes and poor song choreography. It's better suited for OTT platforms rather than theaters. The climax scene at Guruvayoor is chaotic and overly long, while unnecessary stunts are irritating. Mixing "Azigiya Laila" with "Nandanam" songs and references feels disjointed. The abundance of characters detracts from the central storyline. Prithviraj's attempts at comedic dialogue delivery, especially referencing "Nandanam," come off as cringey.

Basil Joseph could be good director, but he now repeating same act in all films and similar ilicha characters.

For wrotten stupid comedy lovers, this is worth watch. Otherwise this is below average film.

This movie falls into the Drama and Crime genres, which may result in some viewers experiencing a sense of slowness while watching. Personally, as a film enthusiast, I didn't perceive any significant pacing issues. However, I found the storytelling approach to be lacking, as the plot felt rather conventional. The second half of the movie proved to be quite dull. The excessive violence portrayed by the hero in an attempt to depict him as a deadly killer and elicit applause from the audience seemed unsuccessful in my view. In my opinion, there are more creative ways to achieve this effect. For instance, in an old English movie I watched, the villain dispatched his enemies using unconventional methods like throwing a pen or playing cards, which added intrigue without the need for direct combat.

Mystical Forest delivers story in its entirety

Movies story telling and the BGM seems to excel from beginning to end.... The mystical forest And the folklore gives you the goosebumps...... Could have improved on the comedy scenes. Village fights scenes also could have been improved upon by giving some originality. Both the director, photographer and the actors have done an excellent job which will make the audience enjoy the folklore entertainment... It circles back to its triangular tension with a new design: the landlord, the people, the cop. The story has an untrammelled and unpredictable rhythm: the landlord seems compassionate, the cop villainous. But even the villagers-cops tussle doesn't play out as straight. Kantara's most resounding roar: that a benevolent ruler is still a ruler - that rights robbed will be robbed back keeps you glued to the screen.

Movie is definitely a terrible failure, poor storyline and with flop direction. There are great visuals, and the cinematographer has done his part with total dedication. One hour 50 minutes is wasted watching this movie Maniyarayile Ashokan released on Netflix on 31.08.2020.

Ashraf Marwan, the Egyptian Spy managed to save Israel, in the runup to the Yom Kippur war & was able to save hundreds of lives. The history that was recreated on silver screen. Good work 👍
