Expend4bles (2023)
The curse of Megan Fox?
The curse of Megan Fox?
It's baffling how Megan Fox's recent projects seem to miss the mark. Is she the culprit, or is she being pushed into ill-fitting roles?
This installment in the beloved series falls flat, and here's why:
1. The dialogue: While we don't anticipate Shakespearean eloquence, we do expect some over-the-top, testosterone-fueled banter. Expendables 4 attempts this, but the execution falls painfully short.
2. Action Sequences: We signed up for jaw-dropping, testosterone-charged action scenes, but they're noticeably absent. Instead, we're treated to lackluster, poorly rendered CGI moments that fail to deliver.
3. 50 Cent's Entrance: Hyped up, but ultimately underutilized. His character had potential, yet it was regrettably downplayed.
4. The Megan Fox Conundrum: As a fan of Megan Fox, it's disheartening to admit her performance here leaves much to be desired. The initial promise of a dynamic romantic-action duo with Christance is overshadowed by lackluster dialogue delivery and unnatural screen presence.
5. Levy Tran as Lash: An intriguing character that deserved more screen time and development, yet was disappointingly underutilized.
6. Iko Uwais as Rahmat: A lovable action star miscast as a villain. Uwais doesn't fit the role, and his dialogue delivery falls flat.
7. Jacob Scipio as Galan: A character with potential that was ultimately squandered. We were teased with a promising introduction, only to be let down in the end.
8. Weaponry Action: Where's the arsenal we've come to expect from an Expendables movie? The film falls short in delivering the high-octane weaponry action fans crave.
9. Predictable Antagonist: Andy GarcÃa's portrayal of Marsh is lackluster, to say the least. His character's reveal as the secret baddie was far from surprising.
10. Tony Jaa as Decha: A beloved action star delivered a lackluster performance. This film is a disappointment for Jaa's career.
11. Sylvester Stallone's Return: The attempt to resurrect Barney Ross feels forced and poorly executed. This misstep should serve as a cautionary tale on how not to bring a character back.
In the end, The Expendables 4 is a missed opportunity, with lackluster performances and action sequences that fail to live up to the series' legacy.
Sphere (1998)
Another great psychological horror masterpiece, that needs thinking.
This movie is another great psychological horror masterpiece.
On the surface, it's a pretty typical -A grade Hollywood movie but when put the psychological horror puzzle together with some critical thinking, I say this movie is terrifying.
God-like power of manifestation is beyond mortal human minds & it's terrifying if you think about it.
When your watching for the first time or rewatching, do consider somethings to understand the greater perspective of the movie.
1. Can your human mind handle the ability of God-like power of manifestation?
2. Can you block your ill thoughts?
3. Can you overcome greed to let something this powerful go?
4. Can you consume the reality of powers beyond your imagination?
These are just the few thoughts that came across my mind when I was rewatching it after a very long time.
Prey (2022)
Breath of fresh in the current cinematic landscape
Easily the best Predator movie after the original. Can even be considered the best Sci-fi horror of the decade.
Pros: Compelling core story, historical references, a breath of fresh in the current cinematic landscape, strong female lead, OP Predator, doggo, etc.
Cons: Missing the ending spectacle of a Predator movie.
Easily an 8.5/10 for me.
Morbius (2022)
Missing the superhero genre spectacles
I took my time before putting the trigger to watch it in person. I don't understand what is all the fuss about the movie being bad! It is not bad, no really not bad at all! Maybe yes, it did not live up to someone other superhero genre spectacles but the movie was generally good and well throughout! Yes, certain things should've been better and prolonged but it is not bad nor it should be ignored. I recommend a watch, but yes do not expect the wow factor of other superhero genre movies. If you go with a low expectation maybe you will enjoy it more than you thought.
Love, Death & Robots (2019)
Thought-provoking pieces of art
Just finished watching the previous seasons.
This is basically what you get when you give creative freedom to a bunch of writers/actors and a 💰 full of money.
For those who are still missing out on this gem. Watch it for the wow factor and thought-provoking scenarios.
Beware of extreme violence and nudity tho, it's Netflix after all.
Don't Look Up (2021)
Two words - ''Too Real''.
Two words - ''Too Real''.
Comes to show how ignorant and greedy Humans can be perfectly.
But am glad that we now have a great science accurate movie regarding this topic with accurate theories and amazingly acted by the star struck cast.
Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021)
Poor choices made something good bad
Other than some classic characters only one-liners, this movie didn't make me laugh.
I understand in this type of movie there needs to be a certain level of overacting involved, Which the OG Space Jam had and still played out well. But Space Jam 2 just did it a bit too much.
And worst of all I don't understand why do you need so much of social messages in a movie like Space Jam and make the jokes so much restless, oh! Sorry, did I mention jokes? There were none.
Everything doesn't need to be politically correct sir, some things are better with dumb humor.
And a big downvote for making Lola Bunny flat af. Not into the furry stuff but the og Space Jam Lola Bunny's looks played a major role in the movies jokes and overall humor.
Again, a message to all the studios, Somethings are better left dumb humorized and everything doesn't need to be politically correct. Oh! Sorry, it's an American movie! They don't care that most of the world doesn't care about politically correct humor.
Arrival (2016)
A masterpiece and a thought-provoking piece of film.
Hands down the best Alien movie ever. No stupid action sequences no stupid over-the-top dialogues.
Based on real-world theories, linguistics, concepts, and consequences.
A pure brain teaser minus the future telling emotional bs.
SAS: Red Notice (2021)
Great cast and theme poor implementation.
The movie lost me from the get-go. This might have been the worst beginning of a movie I have seen yet.
The only reason I kept watching because of the cast. Such a shame you have a good cast with such a poorly written script.
Negatives:
- Poorly written script
- Plot made no sense
- Third class direction
- The main characters and their motivations made no sense
- The Dialogue made no sense from the start
- The relations between characters are poorly enacted
- Theres a lot movies get wrong about special forces but at least those movies are entertaining, this one is not
I can go on and on, just don't waste your time watching this just because of the cast.
Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
A hands down new benchmark on the Superhero genre
Snyder you beautiful beast you out did yourself. Couldn't take my eyes of the screen for 4 hours straight.
Not gonna spoil it but here are some positives and negatives -
1. It's basically Justice League 2017 but on steroids.
2. Everyone got a well justified on screen time.
3. Whatever that dickhead Joss Whedon did wrong, got resolved, especially Ray Fishers on screen time.
4. Amazons and WW were obvious badasse's as they should be.
5. Satisfying ending / a new beginning.
6. Marshan Manhunter came out, not a spoiler everyone predicted who he was hiding as, since Man of Steel.
7. Every single unsatisfying scene from 2017 got a good finishing.
Negatives:
1. Absolutely hated that aspect ratio, wtf man!
2. Nothing else
Shadow in the Cloud (2020)
Started with a strong spy thriller vibe with a bit of kaiju juice mixed into it. But ended with a disappointment.
So, the movie started with a strong spy thriller vibe with a bit of kaiju juice mixed into it. I kinda like where the movie was heading until, I saw Chloë Moretz hanging out with of a plane upside down 😑 I was with you that far, and then everything wants down the drain. Somewhat explains about Chloë Moretz's role as spoiler alert not a spy but as a desperate mother but who is going explain the Kaiju part bro? It's a good thing that I like her, I kept watching! but at what cost!
- Time.

Metro 2033 (2010)
A classic
Metro 2033 Redux's portrayal of a post-apocalyptic world is on point.
Where every radiation-made monster wants you for dinner. Not only the monsters be aware of humans. every human being has a secret, selfish agenda and self-interest. Among all of them, there are few who will go above the call of duty to work and put their life at risk for the benefits of mankind.
Among those few, we find our protagonist a young man named Artyom. who came out of the safety of the Metro to embark on missions which benefits mankind.
Outside of the Metro, we find our post-apocalyptic full of death, destruction, and evil full of horrors. the type of atmosphere here is in such a caliber that many games fail to achieve. its grim tones bleed into Redux's every mechanic to create an incredibly immersive experience.
Moscow has been destroyed in a nuclear holocaust and Metro 2033 portrays the horror almost perfectly.
Some pros of Metro 2033 Redux that I liked a lot :
- Good movement Mechanics.
- Great FPS experience.
- Adjustments to visuals and interface from Metro 2033 is great.
- A fantastic portrayal of a post-apocalyptic world atmosphere.
- Weapons make you feel just potent enough to have a chance in this dreadful world.
- The lighting is fantastic but blurry visuals can be turn off for some.
- Immersive storytelling with few cutscenes.
- Weapon designs cool Immersive in the post-apocalyptic world atmosphere.
Some cons of Metro 2033 Redux :
- Some silly and distracting narrative events.
- Despite the refit, there are still some polishing issues floating books and guns, getting stuck between walls, unable to turn on and off
- Numerous glitches.
- Somewhat anti-climactic ending.
Had a great time playing Metro Redux again, every time I play it's a great experience. The game never allowed me to get bored during play sections but did annoy when I came across issues and glitches.
H1Z1 (2015)
Updates upon updates and still this game is broken.
After these many years, updates upon updates, multiple times name and title changes, developer changes still this game is a piece of ♥♥♥♥ like its first release day.
First, when this game came out by the name of H1Z1 king of the hill at the very least this game was playable, but now its a total trash.
Cons of the game -
1. Performance Issues
2. lag
3. Bugs
4. Cheaters
5. low player count ( surprise surprise all of them are cheaters )
6. 17-25 man matches
7. Bad Movement mechanics
8. In-game economy system is trash
9. Crate System of this game is trash
10. Items used as scam bits
11. Bad Decision to keep this game running
Pros of the game -
1. ummmmmm let me think made battle royal genre famous
2. ummmmmm the game concept was cool at the start
3. ummmmmm nothing else comes to mind
Don't waste your time downloading this 15 Gigabyte trash.
Transistor (2014)
A great and enjoyable game .
Transistor
A Smart 2D, Cyberpunk, Action RPG by the DEVELOPER Supergiant Games.
Transistor cyberpunk storyline with mysteries to be uncovered. progression of the story leads players to combat experimentation.
Transistor's main protagonist Red .
Red Who is a lounge singer.
Story
Transistor's Story starts when Red's voice gets Stolen. at the beginning of the game, red finds her partner crime.
a talking sword with brilliant (voice acting by Logan Cunningham) in a dying city.
motivated by her will and talking sword Red starts her search for her voice.
during her, search Red faces barriers, enemies, and bosses.
during early gameplay, you'll start to gather knowledge of many abilities which will, later on, help you throw the game and give you a chance to face your foes.
I would leave it here and let you play throw the story.
Gameplay
Movement - Simple movement targeted towards helping you lead Red out of harm's way and leading her up to giving
Red a chance to give her foes a killing blow.
Combat - Deep combat. one click strick with many abilities to choose from.
freezing time or temporary stealth whichever you like to call it and pre-targeting initiate a planning mode
called Turn() attacks.
Leveling up - Leveling up generally allows you to choose between a pair of skills.
Experimentation - Transistor encourages experimentation with some backstories.
which might encourage you to use different combinations of abilities.
HAM Songs - Pressing TAB lets Red HAM a Song. which is oddly soothing.
Disappointment - the lack of camera control. which is a big negative marking in a Brilliant game like this. Sometime
buildings block vision in the middle of a tense fight, where you tended to lose sight of your character.
Environment
- Beautiful world design and artwork.
Music Transistor lets you enjoy 23 songs. Among them my personal favorites being. 1.Old Friends. 2.The Spine. 3.In Circles.
Transistor is an almost perfect game with some minor hiccups. which is meanly the camera control. Can Highly Recommend Transistor for its- 1. Deep Combat 2. Stunning World 3. Incredible music 4. Great Story
Sniper: Art of Victory (2008)
Poorly made game even for back in 2008.
Pros:
- You can exchange weapons from enemies you kill.
- If you can reach their position, you can get ammo from snipers you kill
- Lots of glitches
- Sometimes you exchange the weapon and yours just disappears (you can't get your weapon back).
- Poor AI: they can see you through vegetation somehow but then they don't hear fellow comrades falling dead right next to them.
- Boring storyline

One of the best game I have played
Deadlight (2012)
Great platformer with nothing new to bring to the table.
The very first game I traded for back in 2017 for 12 sets of trading cards. I was skeptical that am I going to enjoy playing this or did I just wasted by 12 sets of trading cards.
But Upon playing, I came to at ease.
A side-scrolling survival horror cinematic platformer by Tequila Works, S.L., and published by Xbox Game Studios back in late 2012.
Deadlight as a platformer has nothing new to bring to the table but it deserves all the positive reviews it got. I only played it for a few hours, platformers were not my cup of tea back in the day. But I evidently appreciated the game for what it is.
The Plot of Deadlight
The story starts off around 1986. A virus just broke loose, the outbreak of the virus turned people into walking deads.
The decimation of society followed soon after the outbreak.
The game lets you play as Randall Wayne our protagonist. Born in May 1952, Randall lived in Hope, British Columbia as a Park Warden. He lived with his wife Shannon and their daughter Lydia.
When the epidemic reached Canada, Randall ignored military evacuations and formed a posse to defend Hope.
When overrun by the dead, He searches for his family through a zombie-infested Seattle, while struggling to survive against not just the walking dead, but fellow survivors alike.
Here where I stop and lot you the player enjoy the plot of Deadlight.
Gameplay
A great game with a good story plot. enjoyable platformer which is good but doesn't bring a lot to the table but very enjoyable.
Stages of gameplay are well-done as well.
I don't have much to say about the gameplay of Deadlight. Great level design and beautiful atmosphere for a game that is set after the decimation of society.
Pro's
Good story plot.
Decent platformer.
Great level design.
Appropriate atmosphere set for the game's theme.
Appropriate game mechanics are set in place.
The puzzles are well placed and planned.
The graphics for the game looks great and appropriate for the game's theme.
Runs great on lower-end PCs without issues.
Fairly priced.
Striking visuals
A nice blend of light combat and environmental puzzles
Con's
Brings nothing new to the table.
Nothing to do after finishing the game.
Short.
low-quality voice acting
Trial-and-error gameplay clashes with loose controls.
Summary
Deadlight is still worth putting your time into.
The pros outweigh the cons. and the cons are minor.
I highly recommend it. if you haven't played Deadlight yet.
Worth every last penny.
Best wishes, happy Gaming...
Brightburn (2019)
Literary Superman if he turned into a sinister power-hungry sociopath
The Story starts at a lovely night with a lovely couple having a nice romantic time.
When Suddenly a load bang happen and the ground shok.
The couple worriedly looks out of their window to see the forst near by in fire.
cut to some beautiful and lovely scenes from a child growing up.
But who knew this is no ordinary boy. who had a grave secrete which his mother and father hid from the town.
The young boy hits puberty and starts realizing his no ordinary boy. he realizes his special. his strong.
He starts craving for power and revenge. After few incidents his mother tells him his truth. At first he seems to act mature and is okay with the fact that his not human and his parents are to biological.
but slowly he turns every this around his into a horror show and he is the dictator of that show.
Interesting storyline.
I know that it's a fairly new movie but still very unwarranted for its real rate and potential.
I see a lot of reviewers and critics misunderstood or misjudged it. I highly highly recommend this Movie for you to give it a try first and ignore the misleading reviews that this very interesting movie is getting.
Watch it.
