Marianne (2019)
A Horror Series Well Worth The Binge
I happened to see the trailer for Marianne while watching something else. It really didn't intrigue me much but I do like watching foreign series. To my surprise episode grabbed my attention so quick that I was hooked by the time the credits popped up and I couldn't just stop there. There are some uneven secondary character developments but the suspense and storyline more than makes up for it. Eight episodes was just enough to bring this series into focus and make me hunger for a second season without question.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019)
The worst film in the entire X-men catalogue.
There was no character development whatsoever and the storyline fell flat.
Stitch! The Movie (2003)
Not up to standards
The first Lilo and Stitch movie was amusing and entertaining and held my 2 year old's interest easily with the Elvis songs running throughout. Ten minutes into this one, however, and my son left the room. It was clearly not meant to be a stand alone movie as the first and fell into the trap as so many movies do today: strictly to set up the sequel. In this case, its the setup for their Saturday cartoon series. Not impressed at all. I agree that this could have been used as part of the actual series and not pushed as a true movie. No wonder I look forward more to Pixar's productions than Disney's nowadays.
The Breaks (1999)
Along the lines of the movie, Friday
After waiting weeks to locate the movie, I was not disappointed in finally getting to see it. I was laughing from the beginning to the end of that movie. I would definitely recommend this one to all of my friends who like this brand of comedy.
