Identity Theft of a Cheerleader (2019)
Great Movie!
I love the movie! I loved every single minute of it! This is a film that I highly recommend! However, something I didn't like is that the ending went to fast. Vicky gets arrested by the police, then it cuts to her mom watching news coverage of her daughter's trial and then it cuts to Vicky in jail saying some baloney quote about energy and balls or somethin' like that. It seems like Lifetime likes to rush the endings on these types of movies. And of course, a majorty of these cheerleader movies have happy fairytale endings (which i'm not complaining about). Meanwhile, some of the actors playing the roles of high school students are too old to play 18 year olds but at the same time they look exactly like 18 year old high students. Anyway, my favorite scene was when Vicky opens the trunk door of her car and the camera reveals her former co-worker, the girl she stole the identity from, deceased with her eyes open...kinda creepy and sad since she was planning to return to school but fricking Vicky had to kill her in order to keep her fake identity. Overall, I recommend the movie. You won't be disappointed!
P.S: The guy who plays Liam is so hot!
The Wrong Cheerleader (2019)
Very Disappointing
I was really excited to watch the movie. But I was disappointed! There is little or no action. It was a boring movie. I was expecting the movie to have a really good action packed ending but it turns out that the ending is very bland, boring and well overall I don't recommend watching this movie. The girl is pretty and the bad guy, well Lifetime tried to hire a hot guy but David Meza is cute but not that hot. I was disappointed with him too. Meanwhile, the cheerleader coach's strict attitude is VERY unnecessary in this type of plot. Yes, she saved the girl and her mom in the end but her strictness was not needed for the movie. Heck! They shouldn't have had that character in the movie at all! (sorry Vivica A. Fox). All in all, I was very disappointed with the movie. I don't recommend watching it. Waste of time and very boring.
BTW: The main character's mom gives me Kris Jenner vibes.
Death of a Cheerleader (2019)
Very Happy with this Movie
Ever since I heard there was a remake, I was pretty excited! Unfortunately, my tv provider doesn't have Lifetime but I was able to watch it online a 2 weeks after it was released. I love that there's more color in this movie, unlike the '94 version. I also realized (a couple of months after watching the movie for the first time) that the shy girl is dark haired and the popular girl is blonde...typical high school story stereotype, but I think Lifetime did it to make the story more dramatic. Next thing I noticed is that the scenes don't last that long...they only last like 2-4 minutes. Anyway, something I should point out for any male viewer (like moi) is that more females appear than males. The only males that appear are the police cop investigating the murder, the principal at the high school, the popular girl's dad and the father at the catholic church. The unpopular girl's dad is mentioned throughout the movie but is never seen. But remember, this is Lifetime, which according to Wikipedia, it has women in LEAD ROLES. Anyway, the movie is awesome! Love it! P.S: Colina and Colina County are both a fictional town and fictional county in California, they don't exist at all.
