Fool Me Once (2024)
Lead character is wrongly cast
The series had me fooled until the secret handgun popped up in the gun cabinet in episode 3.
For me the lead actress (Michelle Keegan) was wrongly cast for the role. I found her character Mia to be cold throughout the series, and especially when she was with her daughter.
The only reason why I watched until the end is due to the brilliant performance of Adeel Akhtar (DS Sami kierce) who had me emotionally connected to his characters health and wellbeing throughout the series.
'Fool Me Once' I would say is worth watching for Adeel Akhtar's performance alone, unfortunately for me Michelle Keegans performance of Mia is not fully believable and lets down what could have a been a brilliant series.
The Missing (2014)
One of the best drama's I have ever watched 10/10
I never feel compelled to write a review on a drama or film, but over over the course of four days I have just sat through some of the best acting, script writing, plot, direction and production that I have ever seen on tv.
The Missing - Season One was a solid 9/10.
The Missing - Season Two is 'Pure Perfection' 10/10.
Tchéky Karyo's performance as Detective Baptiste is an outstanding display of acting.
Just wish I had seen this drama the first time around and not waited until now - incredible!
