Busanhaeng (2016)
Epic.
I liked it!
I've watched it about 4 times now, once with no subtitles. Apart from the obvious cliche in all horror movies - that being how some people are stupid and stare at the drama happening in front of them rather than running - there are no complaints. I liked the acting and I believe the movie was done well, the acting wasn't terrible either. I like how it's similar to World War Z except Train to Busan is based solely in South Korea. Well done.
Mall (2014)
Why Did I Bother?
To be very honest, I only bought this movie because Cameron Monaghan stars in it. I figured that he played Jerome/Jerimiah well in Gotham, and Ian Gallagher in Shameless.
Boy was I mistaken.
The start of the movie was a cheap B-grade entry, then as it progressed I felt like the characters were reading their lines off of a script board.
Cameron Monaghan wasn't the greatest actor to my disappointment, but he was still better than the rest of the lame characters.
I need to be wary of watching movies with cute actors in it, because sometimes they're just crap.
To All the Boys I've Loved Before (2018)
Not Bad
Good little chick flick to kick back and watch with your bestie. Similar to a lot of other chick movies about how high school life goes back but ends up turning out OK with the main character ending up with the jockey or her best friend etc.
I enjoyed it overall. And I love that they finally put Asian characters as the main character rather than some white girl.
6 Underground (2019)
Dumb.
Title speaks for itself.
Movie didn't pull me in.
Not worth watching.
The Lion King (2019)
21st Century Breakdown!!
I know remakes are supposed to be a little bit different from the originals, but you don't need all over them.
The actors have NO emotion in their lines. It feels as if they were bored when making the film and couldn't wait for it to be over.
They ruined the song "Be Prepared" that scar sings. Fire that actor!!!
For an animal lover I still had heart for Simba and Mufasa (especially Simba). I still cried a little when Mufasa got killed, especially the way scar had attacked him prior. The actor who played Simba doesn't know how to sound sad or even cry properly.
The hyenas weren't even funny! It was lame and poor acting.
If their were no voice overs and the movie was just based around the animals voices with subtitles then I would have maybe enjoyed it a bit more. I'm glad Seth Rogan was cast in it as Puumba though, he made it a bit more bare able and Timon was a little cutie. Those two made the movie funnier.
Tell Beyonce to stick to singing. How dare she ruin an already ruined remake

Crawl (2019)
I wish there was negative 0...
Absolutely crap. I wasted time downloading this movie and energy pointing out major errors that I can't even be bothered repeating the mistakes..
.. Go through and read all the negative spoiler reviews and that's how I feel about this movie.
Et bånd mellem mennesker (2019)
Had Me Intrigued.
I've been so eager to see this film since Alex first announced it on his Instagram page. I finally found a link that lead me straight to viewing it.
I really liked seeing Alex Anderson's acting away from Vikings, and speaking in his native tongue was interesting.
Sucks how it ended. Not a bad little film.
