Pig (2021)
This film is a beautiful, gentle, masterpiece that will make you cry and then you will cherish it.
I've just finished watching Pig and I love it. The film is a beautiful, gentle, masterpiece that will make you cry and then you will cherish it.
If you like Nicholas Cage, then you won't be disappointed. This is not the eccentric Nicholas Cage. This is the Cage you've been waiting for. This is Nicholas Cage really, really, acting. By the end you will feel very moved.
It's not about a Pig, or Death Wish with a Pig, as some people seem to have expected. It's a deep film about love, loneliness, grief, acceptance, and a thoughtful hermit who loves his Pig like it's the child he couldn't have.
Everyone in this film can act. And everything about it is classy. By that I mean it's a film of superior quality that you will remember for a long time.
Thank you SKY VIP for the free preview ticket to watch it first online, but seeing it on my little phone screen is not good enough. I'm going to the Cinema to experience it all again on the big screen. And I highly recommend you do the same. :0)
Fear No More (1961)
Is she mad or isn't she? Kept you guessing till the end
An excellent woman in peril and has to run from men who want to force her into an asylum mystery.
A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (2019)
So much charm it's wonderful!
It's actually an 11. Wonderful, wholesome, old fashioned fun, so full of charm it makes you all warm and happy inside. Made with love and you can feel it.
Death Wish (2018)
Just watch it. That ending was awesome!
He's older but definitely not slower.
You'll see that when Bruce goes full Yippee Ki Yay at the end. Sudden, swift, and awesome.
Bruce Willis brings The Punisher (with a human performance, calm coolness, and a little humour) and Vincent D'Onofrio brings his usual depth. It doesn't get any better than that.
Just so you know, if you are expecting Bronson's type of Death Wish, it's more of a Death Wish for the 21st century, and it's better for it. In other words, I like that they didn't assault the daughter or maid in this Death Wish, like they did in Death Wish 2 (sorry I can't remember the first, but you don't forget the 2nd).
For fans of the old Death Wish films, enjoy it as a stand alone modern reinterpretation and it won't ruin the original for you.
