I wasn't expecting much when the movie started, but an almost 20 minute long car chase at the beginning just changed my mind. The action and story line never stopped for a moment.
If you like 007 movies or Mission Impossible, or even John Wick, then you will not be disappointed. Good plot, good CGI, great acting - just turn off your brain and enjoy a 2 hour fun ride.

Thought it would reflect the actual FBI

This is just another NYC police procedural we've seen a thousand times. Then when it got political about the cliche "ALT-RIGHT", it really turned me off. I know that Hollywood and the government work together to present TV shows that fit into each others agenda, but I really don't need to be hit over the head with such obvious heavy handed propaganda. I get enough of that just watching and reading the news.
I did not believe this reflected an actual way the FBI gathers evidence and solves crimes. The cardboard characters need to be developed that I can identify with and care about. Also, some clever bad guys and crimes need to be written into the story-lines. Even some actual historical cases would be better. But maybe I'm asking too much now a days.
