You, Me and Dupree (2006)

Such wrong morals in this movie!

Do not go to see this movie with your boyfriend if he has any commitment issues, because this movie does not portray marriage as something beautiful but as a cage and the end of freedom.

It all starts romantic and sweet and you think they are great for each other. But then...

** small spoilers below **

Like for instance: Carl (the husband) comes home from work, he is tired and his best friend Dupree is watching a game with their other best friend Neil. They're eating and drinking beer... "Ooo noooo!" is the first thought that goes through his head.. 'what would the misses think of this: this is not allowed' But his friends convince him and soon there are 10 guys there watching the game, having fun and drinking. IN walks the misses... *silence* and before you know it, everyone is gone! What does this tell us? That once you're married, you can't have fun at your own home with your friends??? Sure the carpet was ruined, I'd be mad about that too. But what on earth is wrong with watching a game and having friends over??

They don't communicate at all... they start a conversation but then just completely miss each others point and start to be all defensive.

Their friend Neil has a wife that doesn't allow him to go out of the house for more then an hour... and 'she makes the rules'.. he left his friend out in the cold because she didn't want him there...

But the movie gives you the idea that the women here are right.. and that it's normal this way, this are their morals.. well.. I don't know what conservative old guy that is totally ruled over by his wife wrote this.. but Wake up!

Bad bad movie with sporadic moments of fun.

Capote (2005)

Amazingly well done!

Sure you've heard of Truman Capote, maybe you even read his books or know about his life, seen him on tape or read about him. If you really want to know him, watch this movie! Hoffmans performance on this character truly deserved the Oscar he won for it. It's an amazingly persistent and brilliant performance. Hoffman truly crawls under the skin of his character Capote. This story will move you, and keep your eyes to the screen from begin to the ending. It will give you insight in Capotes choices and the thoughts behind his book. His urge to find out why will result in your urge to know the truth. This truly is one of the best movies I've seen in a long long time!

Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005 Video Game)

You're ready to RIDE!

I've not been a fan of games or racing games before, but Need For Speed: Most Wanted is just too cool! It takes you in, makes you addicted within minutes (or seconds ;)) At first you really need to learn to drive, and make sure the sensitivity of your steering wheel is right. Once you get the feeling, it's amazing and just really really well done!

After losing your car in a race, you'll have to win in back by beating the racers on the Blacklist. Slowly you work your way up, beating the rivals and the cops! It all feels really realistic and it's cool how you'll get to know the world you're driving in.

Plus you get to pimp your ride :)

Only minus would be that there isn't enough of it ;) Oh and there are no people on the streets... would be cool to smash people ;) lol

Anyways, I highly recommend this game!

A Lot Like Love (2005)

Sweet and lovable!

This is one of those movies that is perfect for a girls-night-out with your best friend. I can imagine guys being bored by it, but I totally loved it! The story is build up nicely, pretty predictable, and with (unless I'm mistaken) 1 continuity mistake. But it's played out so cute and so funny! Plus the actors are giving a nice performance. The lines could've been written better and some plot parts are not written by the best writers on earth, but if you are looking for a light hearted movie that will give you a good feeling when you go home, this is the movie you should see! It was not the best story ever, but I gave it an 8 because it was extremely enjoyable! Go See! :)

De dominee (2004)

pretty good acting

The movie is pretty good, as long as you haven't read the book or don't know the real life of Klaas Bruinsma. There are many changes in the film. Like people are being killed that weren't in the real life. The book only speaks of 9 liquidations and I don't know how many there were in the movie, but more then 9.

Overall the movie is pretty good. The acting is believable and Chantal Jansen surprised me. Though she isn't a tough bitch as his wife in the book...

Well if you haven't read the book I recommend the movie. If you've read it... don't go to see it as you will be disappointed...

The Matrix Reloaded (2003)

In 1 word: WOW!

This movie is Good, with a capital G! Maybe I shouldn't say too much just that you should reserve your chairs for tonight!

But okay, i will tell you a few things. The movie is fun, fast, goes beyond your imagination and explains things you didn't get in the first movie. The special effects are very good, except for one scene (with neo and smith, ehh smithssss) where you can see the computer-animation. But besides that it is really, really good. Of course it goes to a level where you will say: well, that isn't possible. But remember: it's all fiction, it's all impossible, so what the heck?!

Go and enjoy!

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)

Fantastic!

For me it was like the movie was only 30 minutes. The true length is almost 3 hours, but so much is happening and it is just sooo intriging, that it's over before you know it. I'm going to see it again soon and can't wait to have it on dvd!

I especially liked the scene with the threes! That was really cool! The only minor is the romantic scene with Arwen. I think her part is to big and not interesting for the story.

Monster's Ball (2001)

This movie is one of the best I've ever seen. I won't say much because you have to see for yourself. Don't

expect a happy movie or lots of action, but just a story about how

life can be and how you can accept it. Next thing I'm gonna say is a SPOILER in a kind of way. so stop

reading if you don't wanna know anything: The end is perfect. Where Steven Spielberg failes to make a good

ending (like A.I. has 3 ends and Minority Report is 15 minutes too

long) Marc Forster, the director, feels perfectly where the movie

should end.

This movie about a small town and teenagers that are really bored, is so sweet and tender. I won't say to much about it. Just that you should see it (with subtitles....) It's brilliant!

Enough (I) (2002)

Girlpower! Real girl-movie

Okay, maybe Enough isn't the most original movie ever made. Maybe it's not the best movie I've ever seen... But Enough is definitely a girl power movie!! The adrenaline floats through your body when Slim (J.Lo) decides to fight back. Enough is sad and fun, a movie about love and friendship, to see with you friends. Boys probably won't like it, even though it is with J.Lo, it's a true girl-movie.

A Beautiful Mind (2001)

Okay, it has some typical American elements, like the tragic story and about wanting to be stronger than the disease.

Besides that the film is fantastic! The story is build up very good. The acting of the leading actors is perfect! And the whole movie is exciting and keeps you interested from begin to end.

I Love You Too (2001)

Wow, A very good movie!!! The movie may start a little slow but when the story about the impossible love between Reza and Eric starts you just get suck in sooo deep, you won't be able to get your eyes from the screen!!!

See it! Angela Schijf is very good! The movie about Reza's twisted character and the love Eric feels for her, the troubles that comes with it and the love he gets from it, it's amazing!
