Against the Ropes (2004)
Against One's Better Judgment
I had the bad experience of viewing this mess at a screening. The movie was to have been released quite awhile ago---for everyone's sake it should remain on the shelf. The better choice would be for it to go directly to video--that way one can rent it---burn it and return the ashes to the video store. This would prevent others from wasting their money. The movie is a true story about a woman who is a manager of boxers----is that important for people to know!!!This is not one of Meg Ryan's better roles--she is the only recognizable one in the movie--everyone else appears to be a wannabe!! Save your money or if you insist on going then check your brain at the concession stand and pick it up when leaving the theatre.
The Big Bounce (2004)
THE BIG FLOP!!!
Another flop from the graduates of Miss Parson's School of Acting in East Bumfork, Iowa. What a waste of film---everyone in this bomb should fired their current agents and hired a gorilla to further their careers, Elmore Leonard, on whose book this stinker is based, should be ashamed of himself for permitting such a disaster to be made. The plot is awful, the pace is slower than a dead turtle and the acting is awful. This mess does not have a redeeming values other than to further enhance the downing of culture in America.
The Butterfly Effect (2004)
JUST AWFUL.
I had the misfortune of sitting through this mess at a screening the night before it opened. It is a shame that nothing could be done to prevent this disaster from being released to an unsuspecting public. The film drags and is a major disappointment.
Just Visiting (2001)
Worst Movie Of The Year
This is a clunker with no value whatsoever. There are not enough words in the English language to describe the negative aspects of Just Visiting. It is an absolute terrible movie. All of those involved with this mess should be placed on a raft and set adrift on the Atlantic Ocean. It is an unfunny remake of a French movie. We should punish the French by forcing them to watch "Dude, Where's My car?"
