NCIS: Los Angeles: A Long Time Coming (2023)
I didn't get it
The story just doesn't make sense.
The Hetty thing didn't make sense.
The CIA thing doesn't make sense.
The OPS main centre is supposed to be top secret yet both agents from other offices know where it is, how to get in, and get no resistance upon entering - doesn't make sense.
No one knows anyone and with dodgy CIA guys about it makes no sense that they all trust each other. Laughably at one point Torres actually fonds out Deeks isn't even an agent (after seeing an arms dealer no less) and just shrugs it off - doesn't make sense.
The main issue I have is NCIS LA has previously done two storylines involving kidnapped agents. The first one being in the first season where the agent ended up dead. The second one was Deeks and Sam being kidnapped and Sam's wife ended up dying. Deeks was tortured beyond belief. This was pathetic in comparison.
NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Too Many Cooks (2023)
Not sure
I'm not sure about this. NCIS has been wavering for some time and with all the hype this cross over was given I was excited. But the two key people (the trainer and the bad guy) are totally new characters.
There's been no build up of this in any of the previous episodes. It just appeared. I'd care more about the dead trainer if I knew who he was. I'd care more about the bad guy if I knew who he was. Think about bad guys in previous series - slow build up with bits added every so often. Ari and Sergie are my favourite baddies. Even the Ziva returns baddie of Sarah.
On a plus, was nice to see the various teams link back to Gibbs and his rules.
I'm hoping it'll get better.
ER (1994)
Fantastic
One of the best drama serials ever made!
Almost every episode has you watching. Like properly watching. And there's at least one episode a series that really gets you!
Dumbed down, it's basically two stories intertwined: firstly, the growth of Dr. John Carter; and secondly, the live story of Abby and Luka
ER: On the Beach (2002)
Fantastic episode
If you watch this episode and it doesn't move you then you've not watched this episode.
For those asking where was Doug Ross, George Clooney was asked to appear but declined because he didn't want his cameo to over shadow Mark Greene's departure
Jon Richardson: Ultimate Worrier: Health (2019)
It's not a year since...
So, yeah... watch and see what's actually happening!
Silent Witness: Fear: Part 2 (2012)
Actually the worst ever episode
The worst episode ever
Worst episode ever
I could have easily not wasted two hours of my life watching this! Definitely not the Silent Witness I love watching
Silent Witness: Double Dare: Part 2 (2007)
Hmmm...
I'd worked out that the dead person was in fact the police office fairly early on. And I'm very conflicted with the Harry and Nikki are they aren't they thing. But what is most irritating is that, having watched much later seasons none of Nikki's past matches up to what I have just watched. In the latest couple of seasons Nikki's father is made out to be abusive and she hit him over the head with a shovel as a child...
Having said that, the stories are still very good, and I'm very pleased with myself for working, albeit a small part of this episode's mystery... It's just the continuity is a bit pants
NCIS: New Orleans: Survivor (2019)
Survivor
So, Mossad are in the wrong because they killed the bad guys family. Bearing in mind when the bad guy's family was killed and the very strong links Mossad and NCIS had at that time surely NCIS would have been aware of all of it.
Nevermind that a massive man hunt for a Most Wanted person seems to mean, at times, no more than two NCIS Special Agents and the protection is given by Mossad and not an USA federal agency all seems a little bit daft to me
NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Daughters (2019)
I'm glad I stuck with it
So this season has been a bit pants. Full stories, plain acting, no shock or amazing stuff. Until the last scene... Ziva!! I always thought it was odd that her body was never found. Here's hoping she'll be more permanent in the future. She's signed up for 4 eps in the next season but maybe the next one... maybe a Tony return too (since Bull is turning a bit pants now)... or maybe a spin off with the two of them, secret undercover spies or something.
NCIS: New Orleans: Pound of Flesh (2018)
😫
Really... it's getting a bit daft and the twists in the story are down to stupidity from the agents
Bull: When the Rains Came (2019)
Meh
It would've been better to see the bosses get arrested
NCIS: New Orleans: In the Blood (2018)
Ok BUT...
It's a normal run of the mill story. But bring Diane Fornell/Gibbs in. I get actors need work but really, she's a pretty big part of the NCIS show, even after her death. Kinda ruins the whole episode really. If needs must, she should've been shot in the head!
