I spent some quality time in the private audio studio at ION STORM atop the Chase Manhattan building in beautiful Dallas, TX around 1997-1999.
A good friend and I were hired to crank out some "screaming heavy guitar music" and "world-class rock solo duets (ie. Scorpions vs Judas Priest in a death match for Daikatana Domination---was the picture that "I" got from the discussions.
Day 1 of production on our first songs , John Romero shows up with the guys from Guitar Center loading in original Signature Series George Lynch snake gtrs & vintage Marshall Plexis and a custom Mesa Rectifier ETC!!!!
This man had done his "heavy-metal guitarist production technique HOMEWORK!!!"
