Marcia Clark Investigates The First 48 (2018)
While it informs viewers of interesting details of the cases it really doesn't solve anything.
Like so many repetitive shows, it rehashes so many times you get the feeling that they needed to fill time. Yes it does let you in on some details that we never heard of in famous cases. The problem is that the repetitive way they come back from the original commercial cases makes it hard to watch.
The Glades (2010)
Really!
Spoilers if you keep reading. Ending the series on a cliffhanger really ticked me off. The huge buildup for the wedding, the brides ex possible connection and the hero lying bleeding out on the floor? Another waste of time series. Reminds me of Firefly, Deadwood and others where a network decides to pull the plug without resolving the last big plot line.
Lost in Space (2018)
Wandered into political correctness.
While I would love to give this more stars I feel it wasn't even close to how any spacefaring race would attempt travel. The one simple issue that precludes it is the lack of protective weapons. The people behind the device that allowed the travel was known to the top people who created the main ship and they would have wanted to be able to protect themselves if they were wanting that technology back. This has such possibilities but it went too far off into a lack of reality that it really put a cramp on being able to enjoy it. There were several times when some means of self defense would have saved life and equipment. They just didn't believe in it.
Bloodshot (2020)
There are better Valiant stories.
I've been waiting years for someone in Hollywood to find one of the Valiant stories and make a movie from it. This was ok but not my favorite by far. This movie was a bit stiff on the acting. The adaptation was ok but not spectacular.
A better choice and I think it would have worked better was the story of XO Manowar! I am sure Vin would have had a lot more fun with that character and it think it would have been a more commercially successful movie. Spider Aliens kidnap a Visigoth from ancient history to use as a slave or food on their space ship and he travels through time working until he finds their most lethal weapon XO armor. He destroys their ship and he flys to Long Island present day and the Spider Aliens want their armor back. The Visigoth navigates society with the help of a guy who is attracted to him. Funny and good story telling.
