Sounds Better On Paper
22 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I'm not gonna dwell on the whole trans gender thing since it was crucial component of the story but the whole notion of the antagonist, protagonist and the people in between being the same person sounds better on paper and in action it wasn't as intriguing. On the top of that the way they shot the movie it revealed many things so easily so I figured out most of the movie half way in. The tale of a snake eating it's own tale was indeed unique but then again there are way better time loop movies out there compared to this.

A one man show
18 December 2020
We need more of James McAvoy on the silver screen that's for sure. He plays the role of a person with MPD (multiple personality disorder) and he plays the role(s) so darn well. The movie is the second in a trilogy of an adult comic series and comparing it to it's older brother (Unbreakable 2000) it's more refined and perhaps with a more interesting plot.

evil nazis must be crazy!!!!
14 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Evil Nazis are doing lazarus experiments (and more) on poor soldiers and some handful of brave american soldiers must complete a mission. The plot is thinner than air and doesn't even take itself seriously so does the actors !!! atleast the nonstop nonsense makes it not a sleeper but god damn it is bad. watch only if you're super into crazy nazis zombie stuff or you just don't have anything else to watch. This movie is a bad rep for any B - movie.

The What???
23 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Ok here we go this is officially my first review of anything on IMDB, I keep track of what I read by writing a review on Goodreads and from now on I want to keep track of what I've watched by writing a review here. sadly the first review that comes from me is not a Praise or appreciation but a weird show that halfway through the first season I just had to let it go and mind you I hardly ever let go off shows and most of the time I give them the chance of watching them till the end of the first season. but bear with me on the journey of what caused me to drop this right after finishing episode 4. So the story starts with a girl returning after a 7 year missing streak and miraculously she has regained her vision. she needs 5 strong men for a mission but instead she gets 4 kids and 1 old woman which they all gather in an abandoned house and she tells her story of that 7 years of missing and thats the problem right there. the show wants to be a mystery and tries really hard for it but almost 80 percent of the story on screen time is spent on a past which we already have a result on. a mad scientist has trapped her and some others as lab rats and does experiments on them. now this is the first big problem all the cliffhangers so far by episode 4 are on the past story which we already know the result so theyre not real cliffhangers but the show wants you to be desperatly intrigued and in search of the answer "in the next episode" but sadly fails at that. so that was the first now this is the second reason the show has led me down: Looking at the my library of watched movies and shows you'll quickly realize that I'm no stranger to sci-fis hard, soft, Fantasy sci-fi, philosophical sci-fi you name it. In fact I've enjoyed some works of sci-fi that other people have despised and in general I do love this genre BUT this shows story focus on afterlife which we have seen many in other works aswell but it does it in such a poor manner both visual and script wise. I wont go into the detail of what actually happenes but it's enough to know that despite being sci-fi and that element of mystery present it loses it's magic as quickly as the first episode and from there it's just meh and once again I remind you that I easily get gripped on sci-fis so I leave you the judge on that. Now I can write ten more reasons but I think it'll suffice to this last reason to understand why I stopped watching the show: right after finishing the fourth episode I found out that the show has been cut off by netflix possibly for not attracting enough viewers and high expenses (the usual reasons) so at that point I'm like I'm already not in a good start with this show so what's the point of watching something that I'm not liking AND it's cancelled ? mind you that the cancellation itself was not the confirmation for me (I watched all three seasons of Santa Clarita Diet despite knowing it was cancelled and more other shows as well, in fact some shows despite having been cancelled they still give you enough to absolutely enjoy them (daredevil)) but a show that it's already failing at it's mystery aspect and a cast that's not putting 100% effort in the work? yep I'll pass.
