MAGNIFICENT!!
Thoroughly astounded by how incredible this show is. The cinematography, the music, the acting!. Just OUTSTANDING. Every episode was engaging, on the edge of my seat with surprises carefully and flawlessly woven into phenomenal writing. Don't make the mistake of not watching this masterpiece. Go!

The Diplomat (2023)
FINALLY - Quality on Netflix
Finally, after embarrassing shows like Treason and The Night Agent, Netflix gets it right.
Beautifully filmed, absolutely perfect acting, intelligent, REALISTIC, and engaging. The script is incredibly well done, it's smooth and SMART. It's a real TV show. FINALLY. If you like empty, glitzy and shallow Hollywood "fluff", this isn't for you. This is a show that prides itself on intelligent dialogue and thought provoking scenarios and experiences. Watch annoying nonsense like Marvell TV shows with stupid explosions and mindless characters? Go right ahead. Leave great shows for the rest of us.
Watch it!
The Night Agent (2023)
One of the WORST shows I've ever watched
Please read this...
I rarely ever write reviews unless I truly want to warn people (or excite people) about what they're about to spend their time on.
I am utterly shocked at the number of positive reviews here, and ungarnered praise for a show that is shot so poorly, a script that is beyond amateur and a class of actors (with the exception of a few) that are so awful, they're a D grade at best.
The creators try desperately to create a show like Homeland, 24, etc, but the script is so ridiculous and the cinematography is so bad, it's like watching a soap opera.
The story itself could have been the backbones of a very good show had it been written, acted, and directed by a completely different group of people.
The main actress (Lucianne) is INSUFFERABLE. She is NOT a real actress. She has ONE face for every emotion, a perpetual exaggerated "shocked" face with her eyebrows so high up and her eyes bulging out of her head to the point that it's completely distracting.
Also, the idea that a Chief of Staff would EVER be in charge of a secret government intelligence operation is ABSURD.
If you have any taste in TV and/or cinema this show is not worth your time. It's garbage.
House of the Dragon (2022)
SHOCKINGLY BAD. UTTER GARBAGE!
I am shocked by the high reviews here. Truly stunned. The show is so bad it might as well be a parody. The acting is an abomination! These actors aren't even in the same league as the GOT actors. It's so bad it's laughable!! The casting is some of the worst i've ever seen in any show/movie - ever.
Too much wokeness here too. Sorry but it's true. Doesnt follow the original story at all. It's so obvious, so forced, so infantile. It's a joke...
The writing is pathetic, it's 2022 and the way it's shot doesnt look half as good as GOT. Anyone who likes this garbage shouldn't dare call themselves GOT fans.
This show is a disgrace.
She Will (2021)
Beautifully BORING
First off, I must say that the cinematography is absolutely stunning and the acting was great. What made the film worth watching however, was Clint Mansell's score. A masterpiece.
There's basically no real dialogue in the film. It's 98% imagery, i didn't mind at first, but halfway through it became so redundant and exhausting to watch a film with no conversations. This uber-Indie, "i'm so alternative" avant-garde nonsense became unspeakably annoying. The whole film is just a collection of vivid dreams and paranoias, with one or two words thrown in.
Also, easily one of the most abrupt, "what just happened here?" kind of endings.
I only finished watching it because i loved the music. I'm quite disappointed. I really wanted to love it, but it was 100% just beautifully boring.
My recommendation? Skip the movie and just listen to the soundtrack.

10/10 - Above and Beyond!
Incredible acting, beautifully filmed, absolutely gripping and deeply thought provoking. One of the absolute best foreign TV series I've ever seen. I watched Burcu Biricik's acting for the first time and I was blown away. She is a star!!
