Siempre reinas (2022)
LOVED IT
This reality/documentary follows 4 Mexican icons of the telenovelas as they come out of sabbatical to record a song written especially for them by Jose Luis Roma. The interaction between these 4 lovely ladies was totally hilarious. In order to appreciate this show to the fullest, you must be familiar with some of the Mexican colloquialisms and the telenovelas they starred in over the years. I could not stop laughing when I saw Sylvia Pasquel swear, I always remember her being on the prim & proper side! When Lucia Mendez and Laura Zapata (I love her) were fighting over the song and Laura kept calling her a dimwit (among other things) in a roundabout way but seemed to mend their differences once the video came out. And when the blonde bombshell Lorena Herrera admitted to not being in the mood for love with her gorgeous husband and ended up going to a sex therapist. You will not be disappointed with these queens!
Pablo Escobar: El Patrón del Mal (2012)
Perfect paisa
The actor who played Pablo Escobar did an excellent job!I loved seeing different parts of Colombia and all the atrocities of that madman.Once again, excellent job Caracol!
Coisa Mais Linda (2019)
This show was okay.
I loved the characters,I loved the music and that it was filmed in Rio.The only thing that made absolutely no sense is that MaLu and Adélia were business partners and poor Adélia still lived in the favelas. My advice to anyone who watches this is to watch it in Portuguese, the dubbing done for this show was horrible to say the least!
Bolívar: Una lucha admirable (2019)
Viva Simón Bolivar!
I'm Panamanian and I loved this series!I learned so much about our liberator.I've always thought he was married to Manuela Saénz.I had no idea he had a first wife and fathered a child on his campaign in Peru.Entertaining and informative at the same time!Excellent job as usual Caracol!
La casa de las flores (2018)
So many familiar faces...LOVED IT!
As far back as I can remember, I have enjoyed watching Veronica Castro. Especially in junior high school, instead of doing homework, I would be glued to Los Ricos Tambien Lloran!
As far as La Casa de Las Flores goes, the storyline, actors, and various plot twists makes this a must see.
The only thing I did not like were the flashback scenes from 1979. If you were alive during this era it is obvious these particular scenes are in the late 60's!
All the cars, clothes, and music scream 1967-1973.
El árbol de la sangre (2018)
Boring
This movie is so boring I fell asleep twice!Do not waste your time watching it!
