Love's Greek to Me (2023 TV Movie)

Different and good for the heart

I'll keep it short and sweet.

This is not your usual girl meets boy and the story of how they fall in love movie. This is about what happens after. And I just love that. I personally haven't seen much of that on Hallmark so it was a refreshing change.

It's a movie about love, family, and particularly about learning to trust and to adjust for the sake of the ones you love. For someone around the age of the main cast it deeply resonated with me and taught me so much. The sites were also really beautiful and had me wanting to go to Greece. Sigh...

All in all a lovely summer watch with some nice life lessons. I thoroughly recommend it.

Romantic, dripping with culture, sweet and absolutely transporting!! This was so masterfully written and acted that I am just beside myself with appreciation.

If you love a romance story that develops naturally over time set in the backdrop of celebration of Italian culture and family, then this my darling is the watch for you. Bellisimo!!!

I don't usually give Hallmark movies a 10 rating because 9 out of 10 of them are usually quite cookie cutter. So that in of itself should tell you how lovely this was. It is going on the list of my favorite romantic movies of all time without even batting an eyelid!

NCIS: Hawai'i (2021–2024)

Giving off a lot of "Once you've 5-0'd you can't go back".

There's no warmth and love between the cast, the colors are too dull (I mean it's Hawaii friends. Shooting it bright and pretty should be a given) Hawaii 5-0 showed Hawaii scenery so beautifully and vibrantly and this just doesn't live up to the bar, there's little to no humor and there's no excitement even from the investigative parts of the show. I tried but I can't anymore. The bar was set to high by Hawaii 5-0.

Mystery 101: Deadly History (2021) Season 1, Episode 7

Arguably the best one in this already great series

It was fast paced, entertaining and with the right amount of romance. The cliff hanger at the end was also pure genius! Makes you look forward to the next installment because it absolutely left you screaming "WHAAATTTTT???" Definitely worth the watch!

Seasoned with Love (2021 TV Movie)

So good it didn't seem like Hallmark

You know how they always give us movies with all these amazing Hallmark stars who are nice, shiny and well-known but the stories are always so flat? Well this was such a surprise because this movie was headlined by actors who usually play supporting roles for said stars and there was so much more beauty, depth and warmth. More than I have seen in a hundred star-led Hallmark movies. It was such a pleasant treat and just plain good for the heart. Left me wanting more-in a good way! Highly highly recommend it.

First of all Toooooommmmmm!!! If you were a Downton fan then you will be as pleasantly shook as I was at the male lead in this one.

To the review now. It. Was. So. Beautiful. There was depth my friends, there was depth. It wasn't super fluffy and copy and paste like it usually goes with Hallmark romances. There was a story, there was great acting accompanying that story and there were Hollywood meets BBC-y romance vibes in a good heart tugging way. If you are a seasoned Hallmark movie watcher then you have to see this one-in-a-million release and be pleasantly surprised at how it stands out beautifully from the rest. I don't know who penned and directed this, but I want to give them a hug and beg them to do all future Hallmark movies. Never knew Hallmark could! Apparently they can!! Give us more!!!!

Fashionably Yours (2020 TV Movie)

Refreshing, cute, light, romantic but not cheesy and totally unhallmarky!

If my review title doesn't basically summarize everything, then let me dig in a little deeper.

The romance between the characters was a lovely slow build up and it was hardly ever cheesy! Every interaction between them was lovely, fun and almost realistic! The director knew just when to zig and just when to zag.

It was so good I kept reminding myself "this is a hallmark movie"! It was so different from the usual Hallmark style. To the point where I literally created an imdb account simply to give it a 9 star rating!!

I really really hope hallmark makes more movies like this in the future!!! Totally recommended
