I don't know and understand anymore what people (including critics) expect from shows and movies these days. Mistakenly, I read all the reviews of "boring & shallow" first, and almost skipped watching. When I actually started watching (currently at ep 4), I thought the reviews must have been written for something else. I am definitely not bored, it might be a slow burn but it's interesting, different, and to me, captivating. Jennifer Garner is totally amazing.

I didn't read the book (but I will now) - so my perception might be different- however, even then I don't imagine I'd give it one or three stars. It seems that people are so quick to condemn almost everything nowadays.

Compelling and thought provoking

Those who say "I am not a climate change denier but...", ok. I also always cringe at those who reward one star because can't see anyone else's perspective. This is a well written, marvellously shot, thought-provoking series. Each story is unique and different, casting is excellent. Please observe what is happening in the world today - the individual, and then the wide-reaching reluctance to change anything related to climate change in/of our way of living because... money. Comfort. Selfishness. Denial. See the data from atmospheric science: "global sea surface temperatures have just reached the highest mark in Earth's recorded history". How can anyone not see the series portray so well what could (and quite likely is going to) happen is beyond me.

Outstanding

I can't believe how many homophobes there are, even in the comics' community. It is, rather, embarrassing.

This is visually stunning, excellently executed show, which had me hooked right from the beginning.

So don't believe the 'reviewers' with an agenda - if you think we are all equal, then go and enjoy the ride. If all you are looking for is 'how many LGBT I can count and be outraged', then I suggest you watch something else.

Human drama in the midst of alien invasion

People have no patience to watch anything of real value anymore. Only 3 episodes out but some already know it's a one star. Common, watching indebted desperate people to be mass-murdered is the greatest story ever, but the impact of alien invasion on humanity and real people stories around the world is 'boring'?

It is slow burned, the invasion/ aliens are always in the background somewhere, visuals are excellent and so is the acting. I binged watched the 3 eps and was definitely not bored.

WandaVision (2021)

Exceptional show

This is such a clever and smart show, full of Easter eggs for Marvel fans. I absolutely adore the wittiness and quirkiness. Please embrace something different! If you think this show is dull you have not been watching properly. The acting is superb too. Well done, Marvel!
