Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
Decent-ish I guess
Decent, not amazing.
It was okay, I thought. Like it was better than the sh¡tstorm that was Batman V Superman and Justice League, but it wasn't like, that good.
Cgi was still horrible in most cases, Steppenwolf looked like he was made out of paper clips and his face was goofy as hell, most of the green screen was terribly done. There was a scene early on with Lex Luthor in some water or something, oh my god was it genuinely awful.
The acting was bad for the most part also, the worst of it being from Fatfleck and "Kal El no!!!!". Gal Gadot is a model, not a damn actress and she's always pulling this angry-looking model face, I was just cringing throughout the entire runtime. Speaking of runtime, it's too long. That scene at the end, with the "joker" (if that's what you wanna call whatever the hell Jared Leto's portrayal is), in the nightmare world or whatever, it's not necessary and it adds nothing to the story.
The music was good (except for the terrible Wonder Woman theme, I hate it so much, it doesn't fit the character). Other than that it was actually okay.
The editing was awful. Each scene jumped from one to another with no actual flow.
The direction wasn't the best. Most emotional scenes didn't hit for me. The acting was boring and so was the action. I was bored to death watching superheroes punch and blow up aliens for the millionth time, they need to move on from that already. It was cool in Avengers and it was dull by Age of Ultron. Maybe it would've been better if it was made by a guy that knew how to make movies.
The script was mostly bad too. Every line was trying to have some deep religious connotation, which came off as pretentious and annoying. Also none of the jokes landed. The flash's especially made me want to suck on the barrel of a sawn-off.
In conclusion, it wasn't that bad, but I still wanted to die when it was hinted at that batman banged the joker, and when the flash referred to himself as a "snack-hole"???

Daredevil (2015)
The Greatest thing that mankind has ever produced.
The fact that this Tv series is better than any of the MCU films, Agents of shield and Wandavision is sad, because I don't ever think Marvel will ever produce anything this good.
This is 100% without a doubt, my favourite Tv show ever, my favourite superhero ever and the best acting on Tv, only rivalled by some shows. The cast are all great, but the highlights are Charlie Cox (as Matt Murdock) and Vincent D'onofrio (as Wilson Fisk), the personality and small details these actors bring to the already terrific writing is unparalleled. Saying this though, all the characters are incredibly well written. Another of my favourites being Ben Urich, (Vondie Curtis Hall), Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Foggy Nelson (Eldon Henson)- although, everyone is great in this.
The story telling, especially the punisher arc, is awesome, it's all engaging, except for the Elektra stuff, which isn't bad, but I could take it or leave it. The last few episodes of Season 3 are the most intense episodes of anything ever. "Will Matt kill Fisk?" "Will Dex kill Karen? "Will Matt let Dex kill Vanessa before Matt kills Fisk?" And in the end the conclusion of all these questions is so well done.
The action...well to be honest there's nothing to say, it's fantastic.
In conclusion, Marvel, don't let John Watts touch these characters, don't let Snyder touch them either. Renew this for a season 4 on Disney+, with 'Star' coming, this is the perfect time. Also don't recast.
Cheers.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Overrated but not terrible.
I hear all these people saying 'Oh BeSt MarVel MoVie!' which is obviously wrong. (Iron Man 2008 and The Avengers 2012 are both far better) and other people saying 'NoT a SuPer HerO mOviE, SpY Movie' because it makes them feel less stupid and childish for liking this boring trash. It's like the people that think they're mad film geniuses because they 'understand the genius' of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (Terrible title) directed by Hack Snyder. This movie is average at best, not great, but not amazing.
Ps. Anyone that says the MCU is better than the DCEU, or the DCEU is better than the MCU, can shut it. They're both the same, and they can both cower at the might of The Dark Knight Trilogy and Netflix's Daredevil. Shut up
Little Nightmares (2017)
Genuinely incredible
Nothing more to say honestly, this game's atmosphere spoke all the words it needed to make me buy this game. Fantastic game, highly recommended.
Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
Easily one of the best movies ever made.
Up there with The Dark Knight, Empire, The Shining and Back to the Future. Nothing more to say.
Manhunt (2003)
I miss early 2000s Rockstar :(
The feeling that this game gives while playing is genuinely unrivalled in this type of game. The gameplay, while basic, has a lot to offer- from melee combat, to stealth, to gunplay. The world building and design of Carcer City and it's inhabitants is on par with even the greatest GTA game. I miss the Rockstar games of the early to mid 2000s, before they started to milk Grand Theft Auto V. Safe to say it's up there with my favourite Rockstar Games, despite it being a lot more basic than many of their other titles. One of my favourite horror games ever, intense, creepy and fun, would 100% recommend to any horror game fan.
Spider-Man 2: Another World (2018)
Great for a fan film!
The action in this film is probably the best I've seen in a fan made superhero movie, but beyond that there's not as much to offer. Not saying it's bad-not even in the slightest, but it felt a little long and drawn out. I understand that it was originally to be released as 2 parts, which may be the reason why it felt as long as it did. Saying that I'm just glad that this film was finally released, I'd be following the production since it was first announced, and I was incredibly excited to see what else you would bring to the table after Lost Cause.
Safe to say I was not disappointed with what this film turned out to be, and I can't wait to see more from Joey Lever and co.
