Was good....could have been better

I, for one, was a committed fan of this show. I even collected the seasons, and I hope they come up with a new series picking up where the last episode ended.

Why a 7 out of 10 rating?

1)Batman - Was obviously the writers favorite, maybe based on the fact that he was the only one without superhuman abilities at first. 2) Wonderwoman - Was half of the time a warrior born, and the other half a cheerleader going ga-ga over Batman 3) Superman - Seemed to always need Batman to tell him how to tie his shoes. Also his animated artwork could have been way better.

Other than that, good action, voice actors were excellent, a good line of villains as well.

Disappointed

My thoughts - better late than never.

Sadly, I remember clearing my schedule in order to catch this season finale. I pondered: "Will this fight be on the epic level scale that the producers have left fans to believe during their interview on e-online? I hope so." Then everything went blank after seeing the "big showdown" that the writers/producers had promised I was left speechless; especially since I lost a bet (regarding a good fight between Clark and Doomsday) with my wife who is not a fan by the way. Even though the stake was $5.00, but in this economy, it can come in quite handy (a little humor at least).

I actually could have recorded it with my DVR, and watch it whenever I have nothing better to do, like clothes shopping with my wife.

Actors: good job.....producers: bad job.....writers: worst job.

All in all, I do hope that they redeem themselves in season 9.

Hulk Vs. (2009 Video)

What I thought

I liked the animation/artwork in this movie which I thought was way better than the DC animated type series or movies(with Superman looking more like an Asterix cartoon roman body builder...except for "The Batman/Superman Story" episode in "The Batman" show where his artwork was good).

My reasons for 6 out of 10: 1) Thumbs down: Hulk Vs Thor.....I like Thor to a certain very low degree, but even I know that he is supposed to be super strong to the same level as the Hulk. Amazingly enough, in this story line he was more like a "not so good" sparring partner to The Hulk. I mean he was being pounded left and right like a ragging doll....I mean COME ON. From the very few Thor comics I read as a kid, he is supposed to be better than that.

2) Thumbs up: Hulk Vs Wolverine.....I cannot say too much because this is one of the main reasons (85%) why my rating was 6 out of 10. This had it all: mature level action, comedy, good storyline.

All in all my biggest disappointment was making Thor and his hammer less effective than Wolverine and his claws, Thor's resiliency less effective than Wolverine's, Thor's strength level much less than Hulk's. I mean he is supposed to be "The Mighty Thor" right? And I like Wolverine better and all, but in all fairness and unbiased manner, I know he does not come close to Thor's power level.

I judged it best not to give my movie to somebody else because of the Hulk Vs Wolverine mini-movie.

G.I. Joe: Resolute (2009)

Good show

I was reluctant at first to watch this show as I thought it was going to be purely Snake Eyes oriented while everybody else paled in comparison. After reading some of the comments (which were useful by the way), I decided to give it a try, and was very impressed as a fair bunch of the Joes had a part to play.

While some may have commented about the level of violence involved, do keep in mind that this is geared toward a mature audience. I used to watch GiJoe as a kid, and had no problem with nobody dying because again, it was for a younger audience. However, years have passed, and based on the show's targeted audience, I say it got my vote as the best revamp of GiJoe since the Sunbow version.

It is my hope that this becomes a regular series as it would be great. And if it does, then there should be more involvement from the remaining Joes.
