The Changeling (2023)
A bit preposterous for my taste
As someone said in one of the previous reviews, don't even start watching it. The characters are likable and the first episodes are pretty good so you'll want to continue. But then it all goes downhill. The story is preposterous. There are too many lose ends, too many things that don't make sense. They don't explain everything well. Episode 7 is a total snooze (I skipped most of it). I wasn't going to finish the show but I can never not finish something. The last episode might be the worst of all. I honestly just had to finish the series since I had already wasted my time. A shame because the first episodes where really good!
La chica de nieve (2023)
Predictive cliche
The story is a joke. Terrible acting. I thought after reading so many decent reviews it would be watchable. But it wasn't. I kept watching until the end because I always need to watch the whole thing and it just never got better. There's like 3 stories going on at the same time and they don't make sense. It feels like a telenovela instead of a series. Honestly don't waste your time. There's more things to watch than this. The main character is always with a sad serious face. Doesn't smile once in the whole show, you're not sure if she likes the professor or if the writer was just bored and threw a kiss in there.
Based on a True Story (2023)
Ended terrible
"Based on a true story" started off strong, capturing the audience's attention with its enjoyable and engaging storyline. However, the series took a disappointing turn in the final episode. It felt as though the director imposed strict time constraints on the production, resulting in a rushed and haphazard conclusion. Everything seemed crammed into that last episode, leaving the viewers bewildered and unsatisfied. The ending was particularly puzzling, lacking coherence and failing to provide a meaningful resolution. It's a shame that such a promising show faltered in its final moments, leaving the audience feeling confused and let down.
El amor después del amor (2023)
Beautifully captures the life of Fito Paez.
El Amor Después del Amor is an exceptional Netflix show that stands out as one of the best Latin American series available. It beautifully captures the life of Fito Paez, portraying his suffering and the birth of his songs with great authenticity. The actors bring the characters to life, providing a perfect depiction of their lives. This series is a must-watch for those interested in Argentinean culture, showcasing the power of music as an integral part of their identity. Overall, El Amor Después del Amor is a captivating masterpiece that leaves a profound impact on viewers. You'll want to investigate all the artists in real life after you finish watching the show.
The Last Letter from Your Lover (2021)
Too predictable
The two characters had zero chemistry since the beginning, but all of the sudden they fall in love? It felt too fake. I was hoping more romance and more of a story of a real love. Easy movie to watch on a day that you just want to relax and don't think though.
