What's wrong with all these critics here? Professional and armchair critics love criticizing movies to make themselves seem superior in taste and intellect. You have to take this movie for what it is, it's not really a movie, it's more an outline of an important battle told in a modern, CGI packed video format. It's an action packed summary of some pivotal moments of WWII. Of course the acting is not going to be that great, but it's not bad, And the well-known actors do a good job. I like how they also don't waste a lot of time on drama-filled subplots. They get to the point so you can get an appreciation about what those boys and leaders were going through. There were many details omitted but for crying out loud, you can't cover everything in a two hour movie. But for what this was, you will love watching it. It got my heart racing, I was standing up pumping my fist in the air cheering for those boys! And I wasn't cheering for the ones on the screen, I was cheering for the ones in the past, who died there, or have died since, protecting our country and my future. God bless these people for making this movie. I'm not watching it because I think it's going to win an Oscar, I'm watching it because more WWII stories should be told in an exciting format like this so we can bear witness to what these veterans did for our world. Watch this movie, you will not be disappointed.
