Aattam (2023)

One time watch

I Heard a lot about this movie calling it a masterpiece classic ,I don't know why it's so overrated it's a decent one time watch nothing great to laud about .A meeting is called to understand each ones opinion about a incident which happened .From start to finish it's full about reaching to a conclusion and in between it becomes total boring .vinay fort is brilliant in the film the way he has carried the role, direction is also good .screenplay is very average it's full of conversation and takes place almost in the same location .we have the group sitting inside and then going out to discuss on the same topic .I believe the movie could have been trimmed by 20 min and make it 2 hrs which would have been impactful .it's been dragged unnecessarily only showcasing male hypocrisy which becomes irritating after a certain point in the film .it's my honest opinion .

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023)

A very average watch

Aquaman 2 is a very average watch ,it came as a big disappointment especially for me ,part 1 was so good that I had high expectations. Screenplay is so dull especially in the first half ,story is very bad the way it is written. Jason m as aquaman is brilliant but if there is nothing In the plot even he can't save the film.vfx looks bad in many places .end credit scene is so bad that it dosent give you any excitement.the movie starts off well in first 10 min but falls flat after that .some action scenes are good but apart from that the film has nothing new to offer .over aquaman2 ends up as a big disappointment.

Santhosham (2023)

Beautiful film

After a long time writing a review for malyalam film sathosham ,I don't have words to describe this beautiful film.each and every scene is shot so well with perfect blend of emotions be it happiness, sorrow ,the humour .Director has done a great job and the script writer has written each scene so well especially the last 20 min ,it will definitely leave you teary eyed .overall a must watch family entertainer. Music is the biggest positive with each and every soundtrack is a treat to the ears.kalabhavan shajhon is brilliant in the film especially the last 10 min ,the way he portrayed the emotions ,outstanding. All other star cast played their part brilliantly.

One word inspiring

This is one of the best tribute to our hero major Sandeep unnikrishnan..based on the attacks of 26/11 and his journey of becoming a soldier ... screenplay is brilliant and keeps you hooked and booked till the end ....as a audience you are at the edge of seat especially 2 half ... outstanding...not even a single dull moment ....the way adiv sesh has performed the role of MAJOR deserves all the applause and to the director tikka ...all other cast were great be it prakash Raj ,revathi or murali Sharma ....climax especially last 20 min will leave you teary eyed ..you feel for MAJOR and at the same time feel proud for his patriotism and love for the country ...as an Indian everyone should watch it once for majors amazing journey ....salute MAJOR you are the real hero ...feel very proud to be an indian . ..jai hind ...

Dark Cloud (2022)

One time watch ..

Dark cloud starts of really well with Chloe being the subject of artificial intelligence due to a incident which happened in her life , screenplay is very good and keeps you hooked till the end .. Chloe's performance is just outstanding the way she emotes all the emotions ,aida is a special character and her voice was very good ... direction is good and the bgm is the biggest positive adds up well to the scenes shot ....felt the flashback about ai character could have been shown how it was created and designed ,the plot is good but the execution could have been better.. nevertheless it's not a bad film at all .... definitely a good one time watch .. the way film ends was brilliant and it leaves you thinking .. i don't know about negative reviews but I enjoyed it once ..

Rescued by Ruby (2022)

Beautiful and touching...

Rescued by Ruby is a great drama film.. screenplay is engaging from start to finish and is a light hearted film....the dog is so cute who played Ruby adorable .... background score is very good and adds up to the scenes shot ...all actors played there part brilliantly....climax is very touching and emotional and the end credits are shown beautifully that you just fell in love with the film....a movie that makes you happy when it ends ... beautiful.... Direction is top notch .....

The Kashmir Files (2022)

Simply gripping no words

The Kashmir files is a hard hit on what actually happened with the kashmiri pandits ,the atrocities and the hate they faced where they had equal rights to live ,this is simply brilliant,the screenplay is engaging from start to finish and Vivek r agnihotri deserves big applause in getting the facts ,the truth in front of everyone ,it's raw ,brutal and some scenes are so hard hitting that you really feel bad for the incidents which happened ,it will leave you with tears in eyes ,acting no need to say the star cast is so powerful that we are no one to say something about their acting ,simply outstanding,anupam kher is one actor you give him any role he will give his best and rest of the starcast outstanding....climax is really touching and after the movie ends it will not leave you for a long time it keeps on rotating in your heads .... congratulations to the whole team of the Kashmir files for creating such an impactful film.....

The Fame Game (2022)

Engaging thriller

The fame game is a brilliantly written web series from start to finish with an engaging plot ,Madhuri Dixit is just outstanding in the whole series still so fresh ,the way she emotes all the emotions it's brilliant ,all other start cast were equally good and played their parts well ,back ground score is really good and the biggest positive is the writing by Sri murali it keeps you hooked till the end ...in between the series loses grip however picks up during the last 3 episodes ..you need patience to complete the whole series it's really interesting but may not appeal to all ....over all I loved it waiting for season 2 ....this time Dharma dosent disappoint ...

Mahaan (2022)

Brilliant

To be honest mahaan is a brilliantly written gangster drama flick ,Vikram as Gandhi mahan is just outstanding...the way transformation from an innocent ,shy teacher to becoming the mafia in alcohol buisness it's brilliant..bgm by santosh n elevates the scenes shot ,dhruv Vikram has a great role in this gangster drama ...Karthik s as a director wins again ,the way screenplay is written keeps you hooked till the end ....Bobby Simha definitely shines in supporting role ....the guy who played Bobby's son is also very good in the film ...climax was a bit disappointing considering the tension it created ...after string of disasters by Vikram ....I think this is vikrams best work after i.

Moonlight (I) (2016)

Brilliant

Moonlight is a brilliantly written drama film from start to finish , screenplay is very good and the background score gives a good elevation to the scenes shot ,the character of Chiron is beautifully written and we get to see great cinematography here ,climax was really touching and you feel for Chiron and his character ,Juan played by Ali gives a great performance despite limited screen space ....overall a great drama film that touches you ....

Theri (2016)

Brilliant and engaging

Theri is a super fun thriller from start to finish ,vijay as Joseph k ,DCP vijay kumar shines in both characters being one ...but has diffrent shades .. screenplay is crisp ,fast and engaging ...there is no dull moment in this film....the girl who acted as Vijay's daughter is so cute to watch and acted very well ...Samantha adds her magic here too and has brilliantly performed ....but the biggest positive is the plot and thalapathy Vijay's charisma ....what a swag ....loved it ..climax is very good overall a great family entertainer ....amy j ,radhika s play their parts well and are good.

Fight Club (1999)

Classic film....

This is a classic film about a physco isomaniac who lacks sleep and is disturbed in his life ..at start you feel what the hell is happening but as the movie takes off and when the twist is revealed it's a great experience and you satisfied and you will praise the writing ....Edward n tremendous performance loved the way the emotions he portrays, and Brad Pitt class actor whenever he comes be it any role he always surprises the audience .... screenplay is engaging once it takes off and keeps you hooked ...climax is brilliant overall must watch classic cult film 4.5/5.

The Editor (2014)

Stylishly shot but falls short

The editor is definitely a good thriller from start to finish ,to start with the background score is outstanding and it adds upto the scenes shot ..the cars used in the film are stylish and vintage looks really cool when you watch .. screenplay is very good and it keeps you hooked till the end ,Adam b as the the editor has done a great job ,the biggest negative i thought was the climax which is not shot that well ...the tension created at the start falls flat during the last 10 min ...the climax could have been better that's what I felt .... nevertheless the editor as a whole won't disappoint..it's a great black comedy film....rest of the cast acted really well....it's a weird film but the treatment given to the film is great ....

Shyam Singha Roy (2021)

Beautiful film

Shyam Singha Roy is a beautiful rom Drama film...love has no boundaries. Nani has lived the role outstanding performance,but the biggest positive is Sai pallavis performance,the way she emotes all the emotions brilliant.screenplay is very good and it keeps you hooked till the end . Second half cinematography is top notch and next level ,kudos to the cinematographer for capturing beautiful locations or be it sets ....climax is heart breaking and even after the end credit this film will stays long with you because of the characters and the way it's picturized...music is very good ...especially the carnatic music which comes during 2 half ...and the title track.

Army of Thieves (2021)

Brilliantly shot heist film....

Army of thieves is an entertaining and engaging comic heist film... screenplay is outstanding and it keeps you hooked till the end ...back ground score is brilliant and adds upto the scenes and the direction by Matthias s is top notch ...action scenes are shot well.... I loved it more than army of dead ...there is not even a single dull moment in this fun ride heistt... ....overall loved it ....after a long time saw such an entertaining film ....all star cast did their job brilliantly.

ATM (I) (2012)

Engaging 1 hr ,falls short of a great thriller ...

To be honest ATM started really well the first 1 hr 10 min is very engaging and it keeps you hooked because of the suspense it creates...and you think what exactly is happening and why ,it definitely tests your patience to find out the answers why ? ....however the last 20 min is total disappointment once you find the answer ...the director failed to maintain the tension during the last 20 min....once suspense is revealed you feel WTF .....with no reason the villian is killing people ...and he is upto his next assignment...I mean seriously....the director could have thought of something else to create it a great thriller ..at one time you feel the 3 characters might have done something to get into this situation ....however whatever we as audience think fails .....overall definitely a good one time watch for the first 1 hr 10 min ....however don't expect a great climax .......7/10.

Lucky (IV) (2020)

Good ...

Lucky is a good thriller from start to end , screenplay is crisp and keeps you hooked and you keep on thinking what exactly is happening...the plot is good but not great ...the threat a women feels in the society is beautifully depicted and the central character fears that jumps in every night with a masked man trying to haunt her ...in the climax if you observe when she unmasks the man ..the face keeps on changing .. it can be her thought about every man trying to hurt the character .....but the negative i felt was the story could have been told in a better way rather than sticking to the same point .... nevertheless this is a good watch .... definitely can give it a try ....the attempt to make something different was brilliant....

Saint Maud is that kind of film which will keep you thinking even after the end credits ...powerful screenplay,it keeps you hooked till the end ,climax is shocking but felt it's rushed ,Clark as Maud outstanding performance simply keeps you hooked the way she emotes all emotions ,back ground score is very good and adds upto the atmosphere created ....overall loved the way it's shot .....

Escape room tournament of champions is an engaging watch from start to finish... screenplay is fast and keeps you hooked ....gaming sequence are beautifully designed and production value looks great .... especially the train sequence , brilliantly directed ....only negative which I felt was the the climax ,the way it ended could have been better, nevertheless it's a great watch.... definitely entertaining film...all actors were brilliant in the film....

Candy is a brilliant thriller and a must watch web series .... screenplay is slow but engaging at the same time ....lot of thrilling elements which keeps you hooked ....Ronit Roy what a brilliant actor he is ,his expression is very good ,richa has done a great job acting wise and all other star cast contribute equally ....climax is very good and gripping .....only negative which I felt is the characterization of masan could have been better nevertheless a great watch and cinematography is top notch .....bgm outstanding....

Thittam Irandu (2021)

Thittam irrandu is a intense drama thriller film.... screenplay is fast and keeps you hooked till the end ,the plot is brilliantly written and it keeps you guessing and when it reaches climax then you get what exactly it's about ......good social message is also delivered towards the climax part which was unexpected......Aishwarya r steals the show ...one of her best performance according to me and the guy who acted as Arjun brilliant.....rest of the cast are equally good ....overall a very engaging film.....

The mat hadder ,I don't know what to say after watching this poorly written film.... I saw the poster and I thought this would be a great horror but disappoints big time ....in between the film follows same part of hallucinations till the end which is a pain to watch ....where the hell is the mad hatter in the film.....hardly for 2 min.....climax was stupid and disappointing....there wasnt head and toe to that climax ......except for the first 15 min ,it starts of really well and bgm is good ....Isadora c is beautiful in the film and her acting was good hope she gets more role in future to prove herself .....other than that no one can save this pathetic film......

I don't what to review such a boring and non sense film....there is no story ,poor screenplay,bad bgm....everything is pathetic ....3 stars only for the lead girl who played medusa I think her performance was good but if you have a poor story and dull screenplay even the actors cant help it's that bad .......don't waste time on this utter crap film.....

This is a total dud film ,didn't expect from Bella t such a good actress choosing a weak script which goes no where ....it's a revenge plot and as the film starts if you watch properly you know what's going to happen....the reason why I am giving 4 stars is for the performance it was honest and atmosphere created was good but a poorly written screenplay..even actors cant help ....there was no need dragging the film for a simple revenge plot ....after half n hour you are left bored and feel like nothings gonna happen...total mess ...

Absentia (I) (2011)

Engaging and creepy

Absentia is an engaging flick ... screenplay is slow but creepy at same time throught the film and as a viewer you keep guessing which keeps you hooked ...writing by flagnan is outstanding..loved the way it plays what's gonna happen next .....all actors were brilliant in their roles ....climax is good but felt could have been more thrilling .. ...but nevertheless it's a great watch for horror fans .....hope it gets a sequel .....it felt they left it to be continued ...
