Rogue Warfare 3: Death of a Nation (2020)
ANOTHER HORRIBLE MOVIE!
This movie was horrible! The storyline was poor, the writing was poor and the entire script felt rushed. The accents from all the actors was horrible. So phony and labored in each one of them. The camera was shaky on multiple scenes.
But one of the biggest negative in this movie is the obvious fact that they did not use a military consultant. That was clear based on the actors' portrayal of being in the military. It is disrespectful to the United States military, and an embarrassment to anyone who's ever worn the uniform of any branch of the United States military to see a movie where the actors are portraying military personnel with long hair, facial hair, out of shape, and wearing their clothes like they just pulled them out of a sea bag. If these people are in the military, then they should act, walk, talk, dress, and groom themselves like they are in the military. If they are NOT in the military, then they shouldn't be wearing the uniform of the United States Army.
You're not gonna have a three star general in charge of five people. And you're not gonna have only five people go on a mission like this. And it's not even in the same hemisphere as realistic when you've got a close quarter shooting scene, and not one bad guy was able to get a shot off at any of the good guys. Unrealistic and disappointing. Do you self a favor and skip this one.
Jarhead: Law of Return (2019)
HORRIBLE
I only gave one star because it wouldn't allow me to give ZERO STARS!!!
This was a horrible movie. One or two of the actors did an OK job. Other than that, very little positives.
1. From the start, and all the way through, it felt rushed; like it was cramming too much info into a short time frame.
2. The ghost would not be so obsessed with trying to find who "dad" was. Obviously, Ronan could have just said his dad was a farmer in the Midwest and was in the Marine Corps and retired 20 years ago.
3. But the biggest negative with this entire movie was the fact that they OBVIOUSLY never used a military consultant. That was clear from the beginning of this movie, and all the way through the entire script. A military consultant would have advised them how Marines stand, how they walk, how they cut their hair, the fact that they don't have facial hair, the way they wear their uniforms, and most importantly...how obsessed they are with attention to detail. The Motley Crue that portrayed Marines in this movie looks like a bunch of slobs....long hair, facial hair, sloppy uniform appearance, slouching! It was absolutely embarrassing to the United States Marine Corps, and anybody that's ever worn the uniform of a United States Marine. In fact, it was so insulting, that it almost made me turn the show off. It was so bad, that they had a four-star general in uniform, with four stars on his shoulders of his dress uniform AND gunnery sergeant stripes, on the same uniform.... AT THE SAME TIME!! Are you kidding me??? What a joke! AND.... They put collar insignias on the Charlie uniform!!!
There's no way anybody that was ever in the United States Marine Corps could ever take this movie even remotely seriously.
Next time... Consider spending a few dollars hiring a military advisor.
