When cinema seems to be sinking under the monotonous waters of netflix, there are some rare gems to be discovered. Covid and cancelling culture are NOT present in this lysergic comedy by Ulrich Thomsen -known to me only as an actor-.

Lovecraft Country (2020)

HPL was not an idiot

Maybe the worst ever homage paid to H. P. Lovecraft. There is only confusion and cliches, from episode to episode there was no connection whatsoever.

The many good reviews are -were- obviously result of the bland "political correctness" that pervades everything irrespectively of its actual quality.

Glad it did not make it for another season.
