She's Jane Wick!
9 September 2023
This series was totally not what I was expecting. It's kind of a John Wick vs Stormtroopers kind of silly but fun tv show. People could get beaten up to a pulp, but they can just wipe it all away by the time they get home, like it's the fake make up it already is! That is weird if you take it seriously, but just becomes funny once you know what kind of 'realism' level they are using, the minimum. Just like on John Wick. If you can accept that, you will enjoy this show.

And it's really a pretty nice cozy little story about Erin and the situations she's having to face.

One thing that I don't get is why they dubbed Jamie Bamber's voice (Battlestar Galactica, Lee Adama). It was nice to see him in a cool role.

It's a limited series, but I wouldn't mind more of it.

Pretty entertaining
20 August 2023
The reviews for this are just insane. I think people went in expecting John Wick 5 or something.

The scenes, conversations and stories add up just fine. I was expecting some real awkward talk, but it's all pretty fine actually. I think this goes into a B+ movie category. There are some scenes that could have been improved, had better topics. But they are funny the way they were made.

This is pretty entertaining to watch, ignore all the extreme negativity, don't expect John Wick ofcourse. But the action is about the same kind of silly and fun.

The pace is pretty good and is it definitely not as bad as the reviews here make it out to be. It's just a simple action movie.

What an underrated gem!
3 February 2023
This miniseries really surprised me! The accuracy of the cultures in Holland and Belgium, the dialects, the 'opinions' of the 'different' people against one and other were pictured as they really are over here! I was in for just the disaster story, but the personal stories were all so realistic, relatable and very interesting. No big heroes, no super bad guys, just normal people as they would act in real life. Like someone who committed a crime, was not beeing used as an antagonist, it was not the black and white 2d character like we are used to from hollywood, it had real depth. 3D characters that weren't cliché, really special. The 'relationships' (good, bad, tolerable, intolerable) between characters makes this series special. The ending was perfect and made sense for all storylines. I am very impressed, especially because there were no political opinions beeing forced on the viewers. Bravo!

Stargate SG-1: Thor's Chariot (1998)

What a mighty entry
17 January 2023
This episode is a turning point for sg-1. Well made, well thought out episode where we finally see one of the most advanced race "enter the game" after so much time of keeping busy with the scavenger goualds. Sure we met the Nox and the Nollan. But those always kept to themselves. This shifts sg-1 into second gear. The universe just got a lot bigger.

Other then that, you have to love the look the Asgard were given by the producers. Keeping in theme with "what if it happened today" and not 2300, their look makes sense. Also their intelligence, curiosity and power. I wish there were a whole lot more episodes in this theme instead of the gouald.

The Mentalist: The Red Mile (2011)
Season 3, Episode 18

A classic
22 November 2022
This episode was so full with stories/storylines, it was connected to The Mentalist from the beginning to end. Some things you would not have expected to see and some things are the pickup points for what is to come. So this is a very essential episode.

But this episode was also special in humanity side of life/of some characters. The buildup to the end of the episode was really mentally shocking. Patrick Jane is just a character, but it's a friend everyone needs in his/her real life. How they prepared the ending is realistic and how it played out is just so genuinly emotional, it's something you will never forget.

Bravo to all who wrote, played and produced it.

Top of mount everest
10 October 2022
This episode started with a bang and went on to be a mushroom cloud of all episodes before it. The intro, the awesome Knight Rider references and Joey Bada$$'s acting were next level. He is so good you can only do that if you mean it, Marlon Brando style! So much is going on in this episide, you need to rewind a few times to grasp the new realities. The acting, the story, the sidestories, the music, the filming (desert scenes especially), they were perfect and brough out the extremes/limits of the characters. It's hard to say 1 specific favorite episode of show if you like it, but this one was worthy of an award!

I had to laugh so hard..
22 September 2022
This series is like Family Guy, but not animated. Without spoiling, the gas station biker "dialing" the phone had me laughing so hard, I thought I was gonna pass out!!! Omg what was that! This is a full on, how hilarious would it be if *insert absurd circumstance* happened for real comedy show. Yes not all jokes are hits, but it's a lot fun anyway. It also shows a lot of sidestories/consequenses of people who interacter with the cast, which is an interesting way to show a much fuller picture of everything in that imaginary world. Something a lot of movies or series sometimes lack. Bravo to writers, they made something special for sure!

The score is BS, the movie isn't
11 September 2022
I think if it was Matt Damon, Tom Hanks or George Clooney playing the main role, the score would have been a lot more fair. The story was great and it wasn't put together like a B movie (loose an disconnected), it was good script/story. There was reason enough to keep watching till the end on the edge of your seat. I think people just are not used to seeing a skinny weak kid be the main protagonist. The visuals were simple and great, the buildup was great, the acting was good too actually. Only the sound editors were bad, horrible actually. Playing the Death Star alarm, really? And the "background" music was drilling my ears with the noise. Other than that, I loved it!

Rating is all wrong
18 June 2022
I thoroughly I enjoyed this movie, it wasn't the typical Liam Neeson movie and maybe that's why some people reviewed it so poorly, because of certain expectations. But still, it was pretty original, the story was more about teamwork than a pure 1 man Liam on a lonely rampage show, nothing awkward because of the characters obvious flaw in the title, which they could have done. It got better and better, I loved it.

I needed a pill too, for my headache!
18 June 2022
There is no story cohesion whatsoever. I'm a big fan of sci-fi, timetravel, mystery. I went in expecting it was something about time seeing the name. In combo with 2 great actors it couldn't be bad I thought, but have they made this movie in 2 weeks or something? Nothing makes sense jumping from scene to scene like that. Irony is, a movie about a pill, gave me such a headache trying to add the stories together, I needed a paracetamol lol.

Superunderrated
1 June 2022
This movie is a real gem and I'm very glad I got to see it. It has a slight mysterious start, but it's a movie about 2 emotionally broken people, which we all are at some point. So we can all connect to it. The plot doesn't drag and the story goes forward at a perfect pace. Jim Caviezel and JLO were just perfect in this, the chemistry was great. Sidestories didn't mess the main plot, this movie is an honest 10/10.

16 May 2022
This series was made as a snowball that keeps rolling into an enormous show. People might not have instantly gotten a good old fashioned TNG S8 show they were probably expecting, but they seemed to have a good reason for it. It's not episodic type series, but a big package show that keeps unwrapping. I do believe you have to binge watch this to fully enjoy it.

What a story!

Let your imagination go wild, because this episode will take you on a shocking (fantasy) ride! Thinking about the possibilities if this could really happen, just makes your head spin. One examplary episode of what makes Star Trek different and special. This could easily be presented as a stand alone ST show or movie. The story/script is well thought of. Just think how your world/life would be if you were there ..

90's movies
1 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I liked this movie, because it reminds of those 90's "we're all gonna die because of 'this' disaster" style. They cranked up the CGI and storytelling a notch to this era, but it's still a genre that should be made from time to time and enjoyed however silly it may seem. I'm a fan of disaster movies, so I liked it.

Not what I expected
1 April 2022
I get the score, the characters aren't that charismatic, but it wasn't that bad either. I enjoyed it because you can see the Marvel touch ups to the story, CGI and characters. Other than the bad guy not making sense, it's a standard Marvel story. Maybe people don't like a vampire in the Universe. It's not the most likeable creature, but I think they did a pretty okay job with this movie.

The ultimate Spiderman Endgame
7 March 2022
I wasn't a big fan of the teenage spiderman concept, but Tom Holland and the story really did grew into what "Spiderman" deserved to be. This movie really was exactly what I had been waiting for, for a looong long time. And they did it perfectly. It's partly because of spoilers I went to watch the movie, but am I glad I did. For me this was what I needed because they covered so many unfinished topics and I'm thankful they made this the way they did. I can't wait for what's next.

Top notch acting by Brent Spiner and the hilarious script makes this one hard to forget. The line Picard delivered to Data about understanding women was funny, I was in tears from laughter. And he was so right too! I love it.

Very special
5 November 2021
I watched this nearly 20 years ago and it was immediatly one of my favorite movies. I remember in school we were discussing if this was better than The Godfather or not, some saying this just was the best movie all time. I agree it's up there. Rewatching it right now it's so different for me now, I understand and appreciate more of the details in the story then I did back then. It's really a class of it's own. I had no idea how many amazing cast there was in there and the exceptional work they delivered. I'm really grateful they made this and did it so well. For the perfect experience, enjoy it after the last day of work all setup to watch this in peace with no rush or interruptions. Because watching this is (and should be) a special event. It's a masterpiece.

Interesting concept
21 October 2021
This movie had a nice amount of plot twists and if you thought somethong cliche was coming, it was nice to be wrong and see it go differently. But for my taste it twisted a bit too much it missed a proper ending. But I did find some scenes really funny and satisfying, so it does entertain well for sure and if you can come to terms with the way they decided to end it, you'll love it. And I wish I understood why John Rhys-Davies was only in some pictures instead of actually playing something anywhere in the film. That was frustrating too. This movie could have been great, but it something between okay and good.

20 September 2021
Unless you go in expecting John Wick or the next biggest hit or something, you will really enjoy Kate. It's a fast paced pretty fun action movie that has an interesting story, good actors, cool Japanese visuals, a funny little main character gag through the movie, nothing over the top or annoying or awkward. So sit back, relax and enjoy this little action movie, I sure did.

One of my favorite Tony episodes
6 August 2021
This is episode is so special, when I rewatch it, I make sure I can't be disturbed. It's an emotional roller coaster that has one of the most incredible buildup and endings one could think of. Mad, sad, happy, love all pictured perfectly Michael Weatherly handled the romance and bromance, which was so well written, like only he can, heartfelt.

26 July 2021
Putting Joe Flanigan and JVD together was a good mix for this movie. The story and acting was natural and realistic, beeing lower budget the rest could have been better, but I loved it from beginning to end. The time flew by, top notch entertainment. I would watch it again. Watch this one and decide for yourself. The score here doesn't do it justice.

The episode we were all waiting for
2 July 2021
This is easily my favorite episode of the series with so many legendary sci fi actors and the very very subtle and hilarious reference to Nathan Fillion's one of a kind Firefly show as "that Joss Whedon" show. Also hilarious to see Jonathan Frakes subtle appearence and Castle's comment. This is one episode sci-fi fans have to rewatch the most. I love it and I'm glad they made it.

Pretty good
9 June 2021
This movie has a pretty fresh story. I appreciate that in a new movie. The pace was pretty fast and perfect, not stuck too long and not so fast you don't understand what's going on. So 10/10 for story and the pace, but although the ending was pretty okey and explained the story. I get it that most people would have wanted to see more to see what happened to everyone in the movie, because we all got used to 2 - 3 hour movies. For me it was great just the way it was. I guess people are just not used to "short" 90 minute movies anymore, because this was just great the way it was. I loved it.
