Incision (2020)
Fade out
Does the person who made this know another way to change scenes without a power point presentation fade out.. a crime against film making.
Basically a bunch of kids showing off they fancy cars.. I'll wait hopefully for their mutilation.
The Deeper You Dig (2019)
Different in all the right ways.
Hats off to John Adams.. super unique.
Kept me guessing until the end. Fabulous sound board throughout. Had the same amount of menace as sinister.
Honestly the best thing to come out of 2020.
Daylight (2013)
Confusing yet innovative
This film while confusing, for low budget delivers more than most of the films I've seen.
However it might be one to see more than once to connect unseen dots.
Was consistently interested in where the story was heading, each time it changed direction I wanted to understand and know more.
A unique film.. I was impressed.
Seuwiteuhom (2020)
Started out as a strong eight from me.
I loved everything about this, character development, insane monsters, almost reinventing a genre.. but towards the end it just becomes a slow mo fest with dramatic music. Also all the monsters kind of disappear, and imagine dragons is played throughout.. Needed less music and more dialog.
Cold Ground (2017)
Missed the mark for me personally.
As a general rule; hiding from (something) whilst freezing to death. Is not the time to start randomly amputating limbs.
Found this film to have a lot of irritating characters who use and poor judgment.
My four stars are for the creatures.
The Tunnel (2011)
Insanely creepy
Wasn't expecting much, seen one and you've seen them all. This had so much suspense I was hiding behind a pillow. Whatever IT was you saw little enough of it to scare the c**p out of me.
The sounds or lack there of in certain scenes really add to the creeping chills.
Have already recommended to a few friends.
Evil Things (2009)
Misrepresented in the name Evil things..
If you want to watch American teenagers who have zero life skills, panic and break down at the smallest thing. Then this is your film.
Nothing evil except whoever decided this was worth filming in the first place.
She Walks the Woods (2019)
Not sure why people are sh**ting all over this.
I felt this not only had a good character development which gave it a solid foundation. It had a good amount of menace and to top it all off a creepy creature!
