F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers (2021)
Dissapointed
This was bad.... I started watching this version because of the male lead: Bright. But as someone who has watched the Korean version ft Lee Min Ho, I should say this version did not meet the expectations.
Seolganghwa (2021)
Tragic twist
All in all, the drama is very good along with the plot. Jung Hae-In stood out the most to me. His character had different emotional aspects and he managed all very well.
But the ending was too tragic too watch....
Kimbiseoga wae geureolkka (2018)
Typical cliche
Started watching this because of the great cast. But it turned out to be very disappointing. The story is too cliche and unrealistic at many instances.
The childhood background was interesting but how he pursued secretary kim was too fantasy-like.
As a kid who faced emotional trauma, the plot looks lame when he acts very superficial, even around her.
Saui Chanmi (2018)
Emotional
Definitely one of the best dramas of Lee Jong-suk.
As a big fan of dramas set in the classical setting, definitely enjoyed the entire drama.
This is a very emotional series and the ending was fitting.
In addition to their romance, they clearly show the differences in the family backgrounds and how it plays a key part in their reputation; how the family obligations strain him until the end.
Hymn of death song is a beautiful song and very heart-breaking to listen to.
Half of a half (2020)
Heavily_Underated!!!
This is definitely one of the masterpieces and my favourite k-drama.
The first episode was confusing and a little bit complicated to understand that I almost stopped watching this drama. But it definitely picks up and by the end of the last episode all the small points are connected.
This drama has many emotions and the entire cast did an amazing job. Especially Jung Hae-In. He had me hooked from the begining to the end.
Also the soundtrack is amazing. (The "Je te veux variation" track is a great addition.
It was disappointing that the series was cut short due to low viewer ratings.
If you are fan of "Something in the rain" or if you love slow-burn romance, this is definitely a must watch.
Dalui Yeonin - Bobogyungsim Ryeo (2016)
Relentless tears!
Honestly, I cried a lot!
The plot starts off being funny and full off bromance among the 8 brothers. Gradually the story becomes too dark sentimentally. The emotional twists were too much to handle in certain episodes.
I have re-watched this countless times but I always end up crying by the last episode. The beautiful thing about this kdrama is that even though IU plays the main part, all supporting cast has important roles in the kdrama.
One of my all-time favourite TV shows.
Beuramseureul Joahaseyo (2020)
Slow and Beautiful
The relationship development is slow that at times it might be too hard to watch. Frankly, I love this over the instant relationships showed in other shows. The romance here is much more relatable and very realistic.
The fact that the cast learnt how to play the instruments is also very impressive. It shows their commitment towards the drama.
In addition to the romance, it also shows the difficulties of grad students and fallen celebrities. Literally, shows you how to live each day strong and happily. A definite must watch!!
The Witches (2020)
Simply disappointed
I was looking forward to this after seeing the cast; especially Anne Hathaway and Octavia Spencer. Heavily disappointed by the plot as well as the directing.
