Black Widow (2021)
Are we all watching the same movie?
Honestly, I really don't understand all the other reviews! Why so much hate? This movie was wonderful. The foreshadowing, delightful humor, interesting characters and amazing acting was so much fun to watch.
I really recommend it! I love the concepts so much and the "family" just got me so happy. Amazing details, great effects and exciting plot is what you'll find in this outstanding movie too. Sure, some plot points are pretty unrealistic and farfetched, but aren't we already very used to that from countless other movies? I don't see it as a reason to hate on 'Black Widow' so much. What's so wrong with the movie? I genuinely loved it so much!
Wish Dragon (2021)
Absolutely Beautiful!!!
Honestly, I don't understand at all!
This movie is (like in the title) absolutely beautiful, even though it shows a few similarities to Aladdin. But even still, 'Wish Dragon' puts a whole twist to it and executes it wonderfully, in a way that still makes it original. I loved it and I really don't understand all the critique it gets... Definitely worth a try.
It has a great plot, many funny moments that got us laughing a lot, beautiful characters and character dynamics and wonderful lessons. I love how not even the mother is that flat, predictable and stereotypical mother you see so much in the movies but is a completely real character. It's all tied together so nicely and is so sweet... It's one of the best movies I've watched in ages. It's even better than Aladdin! I'm not exaggerating, it was (and I'll say this as many times as I need to) absolutely beautiful.
Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)
How is there so much criticism?
I really can't express how amazing this movie was!! The whole family enjoyed it so much. This plot was engaging and the pacing was perfect! The characters were compelling and we couldn't take our eyes off. The humour was wonderful and every detail I loved. I really don't understand why it has the criticism it has! Overall, an obvious 10/10 stars.
The Dragon Prince (2018)
The best!!!
Our whole family LOVED it! It's really rare that our whole family comes together to watch a series that we all like. The seven year old family just couldn't stop talking and chattering about this show and every time a question popped up like "Do you want to-" or even the possibility of having the time to continue binging the series together, everyone would immediately say: "...Watch the Dragon Prince?!". We simply loved it. The characters were real and relatable but unique and the dynamic between Callum and Rayla is just precious. I completely don't understand the critique, I'm just so confused. The animation was stunning! The colors, backgrounds, style and overall aesthetic... amazing! And the characters and the plot aren't bland at all, they have a lot of depth and you can generally feel all the effort put into this series. I just don't understand at all.
I wish this had more recognition! All in all, WONDERFUL!
Over the Moon (2020)
Loved it!
It was simply beautiful and it really made me to come to respect the half Chinese side of me :).
Anne (2017)
THE BEST!
My mother and I simply couldn't stop binge-watching it!! We loved everything and the beautiful lessons it taught were absolutely priceless. There's not much other to say than it's just one of the best shows there is! I just CAN'T believe that Netflix cancelled season 4!! #Renewannewithane !!!!!
The Baby-Sitters Club (2020)
Two words. Loved it!!!
I really enjoyed it and was binging this show for quite some time. I simply don't understand all the bad reviews, it's a wonderful show!!! I really, really recommend it.
Rim of the World (2019)
It's not that bad!
Personally, I enjoyed it. A lot! The characters had great arcs and I loved the foreshadowing, referencing and different personality types. Although I wouldn't have fully rated it 12+, I still liked the movie! It kept me engaged and although it's unlikely that all of them had sad backstories, they were interesting. The only thing I really don't like about this were the clichés of the nationalities and the unusual talk about racism between black and white people. The movie is trying to seem it's not racist only to make it seem that way even more. They were somehow putting black people in a bad light (I'm looking at you, unnecessary conversation at the campfire). Zhenzhen was great and I love and stand her, even though I didn't understand the quick personality change. Nonetheless, it was exciting and enjoyable. I simply don't understand all the hate towards this!
Stranger Things (2016)
I loved everything!
Everyone says that season 3 was bad and if they think so, then sure :). But I just don't really understand. Is it just me or did I love it just as much as all the other seasons? Stranger Things is simply the best show I have ever watched! One complaint in the other reviews is that the song spoiled the pacing. But for me, it did the exact opposite somehow. During the whole of the episode, I was so scared, excited and clenched up due to the amazing suspense. But the song was a really nice addition that just let me breathe for a moment and laugh, realizing that pretty and also funny things like these songs still exist. For me, it was just a perfect balance. The Max and Eleven duo was so funny and although I didn't fully understand why Eleven was so mad at Mike, it was interesting and I just loved it! I adored Erica and all the different groups that finally come together in the end to put the pieces together. Sure, some things were stereotypical, like the "evil Russians", but it still kept me engaged. The monster was disgusting, but I don't necessarily find that bad. I still binged-watched it nonetheless and I just enjoyed it. In my opinion, it really isn't as bad as the others say.
