When it started I had high hopes but story line is all over the place but Filming and actors great... it had so much potential I think I was disappointed so much that I couldn't see the wood for the trees... the Roberta family are good and have potential.. Kate character is ok but find her all over the place writing wise... it has potential with the right writing team in to Be on level with call the midwife... I would like a season two to see how the characters develop and continue on their journey. The last episode is worth the wait I think ... this is just 6 episodes so don't expect miracles. On the whole I thought it was ok.

Welcome back Humphrey and Martha

So Pleased to see Humphrey back, I loved him in Death in Paradise, he plays the foolish, but very clever, detective very very well... great to see him with Martha too the characters (and actors) have a lovely chemistry between them which is comforting.
The supporting cast is good and enjoyed their already back story .. Main investigation was interesting and I really enjoyed the story and as humph explained it them watching it as if on scene how the did it ... I hope the will bring Dylan Llewellyn character and on as he is an amazing actor .. the bitter ending for Martha and Humphrey and emotion was so real ... so far a good beginning... can't wait for the rest of the series.

I'd heard this was coming and sounded good .. was sadly disappointed. So story is good and should work and make a great film ... family actors are also good with recognisable faces, sadly the two leads had no chemistry... the female lead was ok but the male was unbelievable.. the kiss at the end was unconvincing and uncomfortable. Not sure what happened?? I just wonder if they acted apart for most of the film and acted together for a day so never gelled... such a shame as like I said a good idea of had been carried through. A Christmas film where an ice cream can get through snow but a tractor can't sums it up.

Better than expected

So watched the adverts and thought lord help me ... but pleasantly surprised... as a mum of two girls 13and 10 thank goodness there're was something I could watch with them without me losing the Will to live, Disney take note this is how modern fairy stories should be told!! .. think descendants but better ... not the music just the story. Relies on known actors for the adults but didn't need it. Wasn't keen on the Prince but to be fair nobody was 😂. Two female leads were very good but the blonde actress giving me Lea Michelle vibes .... Really enjoyed it and liking forward to number 2. Rated it a 10 as I didn't don't loose the will to live and actually thought ohhh hope they make number 2.

Have watched all episodes since the start, was so sad that no uk tv streamed for free anymore for series 4...apart from Pluto who live streamed but didn't advertise until half way through... so I Decided to buy the series from prime .....so so pleased I did best series yet, it just gets better and better. Characters are charming and also hateful (I Went through the entire range of emotion) just totally adored the series... it reminds me of next gen and best of voyager and deep space 9.
