Kannathil Muthamittal (2002)
Honestly what were they thinking???
Watching this movie almost 20 years after it was made, I don't get it why they had to take a risk, travel to an area which was under a devastating war just to find a woman who abandoned her baby. She needed to know, she wanted to see, but why the hell were they on a suicide mission??? Why were they THAT stupid?? Honestly!!! In my point of view it didn't deserve the hype!!!
Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014)
The movie in just one word would be "Ugh!!!"
Lucky to have caught it on Netflix and not have wasted money on this. Couldn't watch for more than 45 minutes. One of the stupidest movie's I have ever watched. I was scratching my head through a few of the scenes trying to connect the dots with what happened in the previous scene. Would have given 0.0000 something stars if that was a thing!!!
Anjaam (1994)
Underrated
I watched this as a 14 year old in '95 and the 2nd time today on Netflix. There was so many violent scenes that were dumbed down that I remember quite clearly from 26 years before. I watched it as an adult now and I was thinking what great actors Madhuri and Shahrukh were. They wouldn't have been more than 27 or 28 when they made this movie, but what a power house of acting by both. I have given it 8 stars because of the violence but they deserve 10 just for their acting. My 2 favourite actors and I think the best on screen chemistry you can ever get is from these 2. Of course I enjoyed their romantic movies better, but this is a masterpiece. It would have been so much better if their was better direction, but excellent acting nevertheless.
The Choice (2016)
Cringe!!
I love chick flicks and can cry on cue. But this annoyed me and bored the hell out of me!!! So cheating is good!! Damn!! If I had only known!! Also did she have to shout so much?? They were just plain annoying..
Love, Rosie (2014)
I loved it
Watched it twice. I don't know why. Looking at all the negative reviews I think I must have missed something. The movie made my heart skip a beat and give my heart a tweek. I have been watching so many movies these days trying to get my heart to just do that. And it finally did!! Maybe I am a hopeless romantic or can't judge a movie properly. But all I know is that I don't cry easily watching a movie, but this one got me and got me good!!

Love Love Loved it
Watched a meaningful love story after ages and this is so much like my own story. No one ever express love for each other but nevertheless it is there. However, somethings didn't add up. First of all she had a flight to catch at 5.30am. This time constraint would never have given them time to cut his hair AND shave off his beard AND prepare food AND eat it AND fall asleep AND have coffee AND narrate the past. No, that will never get anyone anywhere.
Second, his students recognising him at the restaurant. The audience couldn't recognise him. Rather far fetched that his students could and so quickly. If that was so easy, there would be more criminals behind bars. Also why did she have to tell them the story? Didn't make sense.
If the script writer and director paid a little more attention to practicality I would have given it a 10. It's not a regular masala movie that I could've thrown those little details to the wind. It's the little details of this movie that made it beautiful.
Wajood (1998)
Why was this movie a flop??
I loved it. Loved the acting, especially Nana Patekar's and the story line was good. Ending was unexpected and emotionally moving. Sometimes I felt that Nana Patekar over acted and Mukhul Dev could have done more, but that's just me. I also saw a review that said that Madhuri over acted, but I failed to see it. I really can't understand why this movie was a flop. It could have easily been a Hollywood movie. Never watched it before because of it's flop status, but was on a Madhuri Dixit movie roll and decided to watch. I am so glad I did. Why don't these actors even talk about this movie? It's a gem.

This movie could have been so much more
At the end of this movie I was wondering why was it ever made!!! The plot could have been so different. I was so bored in the middle of it. 1.5 hrs tops and it could have ended!!! Left me thinking why did Dan behave the way he did in the beginning? He knew the penalty his parents had to pay if he screwed up and he still went ahead and did it. Why? Did he have mental issues only the script writer knew about? Didn't sit too well with me. The relationship between him and Shiuli. What was it? She had never even looked at him or had spoken about having romantic feelings for him. Why was he acting on a whim, holding on to some last words? Their friends were acting like a bunch of heartless people. They never even went to see her after the first few days. That was weird. Anybody will have much more empathy towards a friend and so much more for a best friend. Her friends were just portrayed like some useless jackasses!!!
Dhawan's acting was ok so was Banita's, but their acting never jerked the response it should have. Didn't strike a chord with me. At the end I wanted the 3 hours back, felt I had wasted my time. It lacked the very essence of emotional response it was supposed to trigger. I am a person who can cry buckets watching such movies. This left me just plain annoyed. Disappointed!!!
