Lost in Space: The Golden Man (1966)
Lost in space
I must agree with your review of The Golden Man. I grew up watching LIS and I am now in my mid 40's and I get a kick watching episodes now. The beach ball mind field was a hoot! Why didn't Judy just walk out of it? Season one was without a doubt the best season. In my opinion Jonathan Harris killed the show. He was OK in season 1 but I would have had Don West kill him by the end of the season! Seasons 2-3 got way to campy and turned into a comedy series. The pilot series was done without DR. Smith and I believe they should have stuck with that and let Guy Williams be the star of the show. My favorite episode was "The Hungry SEA". I can still get into season 1 today, but seasons 2-3 went way off track for me.

The Hungry Sea
The Hungry Sea was my favorite episode of LIS. It was what the series should have been based on. Guy Williams(John Robinson) was the main focus of this show and it was much more serious and adventurous. There was a blooper in this show however. When the crew in the chariot thought Don West went overboard in the ocean, they did not realize he was just hanging over the side. How could they not see him hanging over the side when the chariot is made of glass windows all around? Anyway it was my favorite episode and I still to this day can watch season one and be entertained. Seasons 2-3 got to campy and went downhill because of DR. Smith IMO.
