I like the show overall, but volume 2 of season 4 was very disappointing. It felt very rushed. I wish the volume would have been spread out into more than 2 episodes because far too much happened in too little time. Also, some details were just unnecessary such as the promo done to insinuate that Will is queer even though it wasn't touched on at all in the show. Steve confessing his feelings for Nancy were also very unnecessary considering her and Jonathan never ended up breaking up (which was also a huge plot hole in my opinion). Finally, the death of Eddie and the survival of Max just don't make sense for the plot. Eddie's last minute sacrifice ruined the buildup of his character and Eleven saving Max when she was on the brink of death just does not make sense for either character.
Hopefully season 5 has more consistency and is better told than the second volume of season 4.
